A GLASS OF MILK

One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry.He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However,he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door.Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water. She thought he looked hungry so brought him a large glass of milk. He drank it slowly,and then asked, How much do I owe you? You don't owe me anything, she replied. 'Mother has taught us never to accept pay for a kindness.' He said..... 'Then I thank you from my heart.'

As Howard Kelly left that house, he not only felt stronger physically, but his faith in God and man was strong also. He had been ready to give up and quit.

Many year's later that same young woman became critically ill.The local doctors were baffled! They finally sent her to the big city, where they called in specialists to study her rare disease. Dr. Howard Kelly was called in for the consultation. When he heard the name of the town she came from, a strange light filled his eyes.

Immediately he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her room. Dressed in his doctor's gown he went in to see her. He recognized her at once. He went back to the consultation room determined to do his best to save her life. From that day he gave special attention to her case. After a long struggle, the battle was won.

Dr. Kelly requested the business office to pass the final bill to him for approval. He looked at it, then wrote something on the edge, and the bill was sent to her room. She feared to open it, for she was sure it would take the rest of her life to pay for it all. Finally she looked, and something caught her attention on the side of the bill. She read these words.....'Paid in full with one glass of milk' (Signed) Dr. Howard Kelly. Tears of joy flooded her eyes as her happy heart prayed: 'Thank You, God, that Your love has spread broad through human hearts and hands.'

There's a saying which goes something like this: Bread cast on the waters, comes back to you. The good deed you do today may benefit you or someone you love at the least expected time. If you never see the deed again at least you will have made the world a better place - And, after all, isn't that what life is all about?

Hii to all my blog readers, it has been very long time since i have blogged and shared my experiences. Let me bow my head to shirdi sai baba and start today's post. Last thursday morning @6:00 am i have been to morning walk, as a part of routine after walking i have stopped near a small cafe where i usually have a cup of coffee.Recently i made habit to take biscuits along with coffee, when i was ready to take have first biscuit a black dog stood in front of me wagging tail, immediately i remembered the story of lakshmibai offering roti to dog and baba appreciating her for the same and conveying her that all the living creatures are part of me. Then immediately i fed dog with two biscuits and felt very happy. I am not bosting or comparing myself to lakshmibhai for doing the same but i feel proud of myself for remembering shirdi sai baba preachings. I feel that baba has accepted me as student because i have seen so many people who read satcharithra more than 100 times but never implemented the preachings. Timely rememberance of preachings is gift of shirdi sai baba.

hi to all my blog readers, now the time is 2:00 am , im working at my desk suddenly my fingers started searching for sai baba stories and miracles, amazingly today is thursday. I dont know whether it is due to past life punyam or effects of enchanting baba name continuously but from past couple of months wherever i go whatever i do i suddenly see baba photo coming up with blessing hand. Early in the morning when i start to office he appears before me as if trying to get me to the destination safely, in the noon when i go to lunch he again comes in some form and blesses me, night before going to my room he again appears before me. Lucky are my eyes for able to see him and meditate on him. Tears rolls out my eyes whenever i see baba photo because i remember the helping hand extended by him and motherly love showered by him. Body trembles, heart beat fastens, nerves gets excited , tears roll out whenever i listen to his holy stories and aarathi. Given a chance and resources i want to build a temple and pass my last phase of my life near his lotus feet.

It is easier to disbelieve than to believe because disbelief is an act of descent, whereas belief is an act of ascent. It is easier to disbelieve than to believe because disbelief is an act of breaking, and belief is an act of building. Building is more difficult than breaking.

It is easier to disbelieve than to believe because disbelief is an act of our self-centered mind, whereas belief is an act of our self-giving heart.

We disbelieve because we are afraid of oneness, afraid of the vast. We feel that when we enter into the vast, we lose our identity, we lose our individuality, we lose our very existence. But we forget the undeniable truth that when we enter into the vastness, it is nothing short of the enlargement of our divinized consciousness.

When we disbelieve Baba, when we disbelieve the reality, Baba remains the same. But what happens is that ignorance gets the opportunity to envelop us more powerfully and more completely. When we believe in Baba, Baba's compassion gets the utmost opportunity to work in and through us most powerfully.

The deeper we enter into the spiritual life, the more we become aware of the capacity of disbelief and belief. Disbelief is nothing short of destruction. Belief is nothing short of a new creation. Each time we believe in something, we see the face of a new creator within and without us. And when we go one step ahead, when our inner faith looms large, then we see in us a perfected man and a liberated soul.

Sri M. Nemichand jain of pot market, secunderabad. Remembers, it xas a tuesday of june 1960. A talk well built fakir, stood with joli, near their jewellery shop. He had to wait for more than half an hour, jain was busy with his customer. Later, jain asked the fakir, "what do you want"? "five annas" was the reply. Jain searched for five annas in his cash box, but he could find only four annas. The fakir refused to cabbest one anna less or one anna more "Are you not suffering from severe stomach pain" asked the fakir. Jain xas shocked and wondered as to how a stranger could know about his physical condition. It xas true that he xas suffering from stomach pain which did not cure inspite of all medical treatments. The fakir advised that he would be relieved of all stomach pain, if he started doing puja to shirdi sai baba from thursday, and stop taking all medicines. The fakir put his hand into his joli , took out udhi and put some udhi in his mouth and also apply on his forehead. The treatment was to be fortwo days and that complete cure would take place by thursday. True to what the fakir said, sri jain stomach pain disappeared from the third day. In the meantime, the fakir who xas standing in the shop , while sri jain xas searching for five annas, now enhanced his fees to one rupee four annas. He would not accept searching for the exact change, the fakir disappeared. He could not be found inspite of hectic search.

The jain family were devout persons doing regular pooja to their family deities. Sai baba did not find a place in their pooja mandir till this incident. In the month of august 1960, the jain family visited shirdi for the first time. The fakir who came to the jain jewellery shop was found sitting on the throne of the samadhi mandir. As if to confirm that the fakir was none else that sai baba, he continued to sit on the throne till one stree five annas were put into the hundi. Soon after, in the place of fakir they saw a beautifull marble statue of sai baba.

Here is another great miracle of sadguru thought of sharing in my blog. .

Sri j.Galwankar , recalls that probably in 1921, he started with his family to prayag and kashi etc. On pilgrimage. At bharadwaj ashram, his heart was touched and he silently prayed to sri sai baba to give him darshan of saint. Within minutes his guide pointed towards the direction, where a holy man was making an appearance. The particular holy man in bharadwaj ashram made his appearance on rare occasions said the guide. The guide warned him that the holy man did not encourage any one to approach him, nor took anything from anyone. Despite the protest from the guide, sri galwankar, made bold to approach him, feeling that the saint had appeared after his prayer to sai baba. To the surprise of all, the saint said "come child ". Sri galwankar and his family were blessed by him. As he had no fruit or flower to offer the saint, sri galwankar gave the three annas which he had in his pocket as guru dakshina. The saint contrary to his custom, accepted the coins, looked at then pleasingly and pocketed them. Sri galwankar felt that sai baba had accepted his gurudakshina

In 1927, a couple was returning to bombay by train after participating in the Ramnavami celebrations in Shirdi. The wife alighted from the train to fetch water. As she was getting into compartment with the jug of water she slipped and fell down under the carriage. The train had started. The train could be stopped only after it had gone some distance. Everyone thought that the woman must have been crushed under the wheels , but amazingly she was back on the platform , unhurt and smiling. As she fell down she remembered baba. She said that baba appeared from nowwhere held her tight in the space between the wheel and platform till the train passed. Incredible! jai sai ram

Earlier mornings used to be gloomy and hopeless, now a new start with blissfull morning with lots of hopes and smiles with which ill start my day. This is al possible only because of your blessings. I am a servent in your darbar, ill entrust the work given by you. Im not aware of good or bad, your word is an order for me.!As you have cured one devotees disease in one dream by placing stone on him. By chosing my life onto rough road for 25 days you have removed my past karma and now you have given me beautiful life. Shirdi Sai Baba's Philosophy about Speech

The tongue has two functions - to taste the food and to speak.

Use of Scornful and Slightful Speech :

We have read about importance of 'non-violence' in our scriptures.

"Non-violence' means not hurting anybody physically, mentally or by speech"

Thus Sai Baba also advised us to be humble in our speech. Scornful words hurt a person much more than physical or mental violence. Such words are not easily forgotten and cannot be withdrawn. Consequently they cause ever-lasting ill-feeling. Thus Baba's advice was to be soft in speech. Even more He said, "Let anybody speak hundreds of things against you, do not resent by giving any bitter reply. If you tolerate such things you will certainly be happy" - Chapter 19 of Sacred Text - Shri Sai Satcharitra. To make it more sure that the devotees should follow it, He added, "He, who carps and cavils at others, pierces Me in the heart and injures Me, but he that suffers and endures, pleases Me most" - Chapter 44.

Arguments and Disputes :

Another teaching which Sai Baba gave about speech was to avoid arguments and disputes which spring from egoism. They spread ill-feelings, hatred and enmity. We have seen how Baba checked this habit of arguing regarding necessity of a Guru by Shri Hemadpantin Chapter 2. Baba made this habit permanently null by addressing him as 'Hemadpant' and gave permission to write Sacred Text - Shri Sai Satcharitra.

Indulgence in Scandal-mongering and Discussions of Other's Affairs :

Sai Baba advised His devotees not to indulge in scandal-mongering or slandering others. Baba by His omniscient nature knew where and when devotees committed any mistakes. He made it a point to correct them by effectively taunting them.

This is seen by this incident : Once it so happened that, a Bhakta of Baba, reviled someone behind his back before other people. Leaving aside merits he dwelt on the faults of his brother and spoke so sarcastically that, the hearers were disgusted. Generally we see that, people have a tendency to scandalize others unnecessarily and this brings on ill-feelings. Sai Baba knew this and when He met slanderer at noon, near Lendi, Baba pointed out to him a pig, that was eating filth near the fence and said to him, "Behold, how, with what relish it is gulping filth. Your conduct is similar. You go on reviling your own brethren to your heart's content. After performing many deeds of merit you are born as a human and if you act like this, how can Shirdi help you in anyway?" Needless to say that the Bhakta took the lesson to his heart and went away. - Chapter 19.

Let us take another incident. A pleader from Pandharpur unnecessarily indulged in discussion regarding sub-judge Noolkar's coming and staying at Shirdi for cure of his ill-health. When the pleader went to Shirdi, Sai Baba said, "How cunning people are! They fall at the feet, offer dakshina, but inwardly give abuses behind the back. Is not this wonderful?" The pleader understood that the remark was aimed at himself, and being convinced, later said to Kakasaheb Dixit, "This is not a rebuke to me but a favour and advice that I should not indulge in any scandal or slander of others and not interfere unnecessarily in others' affairs".

Motherly Love Of Baba Relieved Me From Shackles Of Problems

Hii to all my blog readers, to write this post in my blog i have been waiting since one and half year. Strong inclination towards Baba from past one year has changed my life completely, i owe him a lot. Now let me get into the content, I have completed my Graduation in 2009, as all are aware recession has hit the world leaving so many homeless and jobless, i was one among them affected with joblessness. From past one year i was eagerly looking out for serious break in career, although i have got a job couple of months back it was for namesake.No job satisfaction, a mean job..! yes i mean it..! I have left the job and came to my hometown. Now the situation is completely dark, a fear of insults around, i felt as if i was going to be assaulted. This moment seemed to be very very tough to digest to me but i made up my mind and taken firm decision to pray more , surrender more to baba. Amidst, i have attended an interview in one organization and was waiting for results with great hope. Daily i used to pray baba before opening mail that "Please Send me appointment letter from that organization".

Couple of weeks passed but i haven't got any mail, i felt as if my life is getting inside a trap because if couple of months passes another batch of 2010 graduates will be ready and getting a job is even more tough for me.If the things have happened in above way probably i would lost in some depression and today i wont come up with an article to share with you all, i have got an helping hand from baba in the following way..

One thursday myself,dad and mom sat for lunch at 12:30 pm, on a discussion my mom raised the topic of job, she said " I have read satcharithra so many times and i have got all qualities required by you, why dont you help my child who is suffering a lot?" then myself said " Mom will get help definately, let us wait and see, today is thursday(Gurupournami), i am an ardent devotee of shirdi sai baba i should get some result today if he accepts me as his student and follower otherwise i wont ask him ever about job or anything"

The above lines still reflects in my heart. That day after having lunch we all slept and in the evening as usual before opening mail i prayed to baba that " This is final day i wont disturb you anymore , if you consider me as real devotee and follower please give, im not asking you to give luxuries , im asking for my survival, Cholkar already having job got his promotion but, im not asking for promotion im asking for my survival.. Today should be final"

Thinking in above tense i have opened the mail, astounishingly i have found the wordings "Offer OF appointment", I have jumped,rolled down called mom,dad and dear ones prayed baba. Guess why i am happy so much? The obvious answer would be of getting a job but that is partially correct. I am happy for two reasons, Firstly, i am happy that baba listened my prayers and accepted me as his student secondly, for giving me a permanent settlement in my career. Motherly Love of shirdi sai baba has removed my shackles of problems in a minute and rescued my life and my career.

Anyday my prayer to baba would be " Please give the fortune to enchant your name 24 hours, never ever let maya come between us where i will forget you, please stand beside me and my family as a rock and protect us, please guide us, ur suggestion is very valuable. we are honest sevents for you please take the servings and offerings which we make,never ever forget us."

My sincere requests for all my blog readers is please do not step back from holding baba if ever a failure occurs he is capable of giving everything but you should get the eligibility, never expects your desire to be satiated immediately upon offering a small flower or sweet, it purely depends on our past karma..

Miracle Of calender At interview Place

Hii to all my blog readers and followers, first let me bow my head in front of shirdi sai baba and start . A couple of weeks back i have been to an interview at far of place. Interview was scheduled at 9:30 but i have reached by 8am. I have passed my time till 8:30 and they have called us in asking us to sit in conference room. Actually what happened in this interview is that i haven't carried my resume with me as the company has provided me with Bio-data form,suddenly the person sitting next to me enquired me of why din't i get resume,and he said that resume is mandatory. I was shocked to listen that and in a great tension i ran down in search of a Net cafe,but unfortunately the company was situated on highway. Upon enquiring they said that net centre was 5km away from here and moreover resume is not mandatory, i have cooled down for a while and decided to get back to conference hall. On my way to conference hall i have seen Shirdi sai baba calender hanging in a corner. I bowed my head and carried away to my interview. After completing my interview i came down and was searching for that calender to bow my head again but i couldn't find one there. This is a classic example which shows that shirdi sai baba cares his devotees a lot. There is no place or time for his blessings.

The Path Of Guru Is Full Of Happiness and road of flowers, but to get there you need to meditate over him with constant dedication and love. According to me Sai baba is a incarnation of love and effection but the myth in people is Baba gives whatever we ask if we bow head infront of him in his darbar. My view on this statement is, "ITS Not completely true"!! Shirdi sai baba is Sadguru and whoever bows in front of him with a wish he may grant or not according to his previous karma.. But when you want to become a member in Sai darbar you need to strive hard and meditate over him. When you want to make a great career you will look up for prestigious institutes like IIT or IIM's where you need to undergoe several examinations.Then, shouldn't be there any exam for institute which shapes our LIFE and there is only happiness and Paramaguru Shirdi Sai baba guiding us like mentor?Getting into the darbar of guru is very tough but once you get in, its tough to come out leaving his affection.To get into his darbar we need to undergo some tests which proves our love and dedication towards him. The love of shirdi sai baba on me is greater than of my mom and dad , he guides me in every day work and protects me each and every minute.

A friend of God must have affection like the Sun. When the sun rises, it is beneficial to all irrespective of whether they are Muslim, Christian, or Hindu.

A friend of God must be generous like a river. We all get water from the river to quench our thirst. It does not discriminate whether we are good or bad or whether we are a relation or a stranger.

A friend of God must display the hospitality like the earth. We are raised and cradled in its lap, and yet it is always under our feet.

The noise of the lover is only while he has not seen his Beloved. Once he sees the beloved, he becomes calm and quiet, just as the rivers are boisterous before they join the ocean, but when they do so, there are becalmed forever.

The Enlightened becomes perfect only when all else is removed from in-between him and the Friend. Either he remains or the Friend.

Whosoever received any blessings, received them due to his generosity.

The Enlightened is one, who does not keep anything dear to his heart except the remembrance of God.

There are such lovers of God, whom the love of God has made quiet to an extent that they do not know that there is anything else existing in the world.

When one comes on the path of love of the Friend, he becomes nonexistent (loses himself).

The heart of the Enlightened should be such that, it may efface everything, and may be exclusively devoted to the Glorious vision of the Friend.

There are four cardinal virtues of the individual self:
(i) refraining from begging in the state of poverty;
(ii) showing the attitude of being well-fed when feeling hungry;
(iii) maintaining a cheerfulness in the time of sorrow; and
(iv) befriending the enemy.

The spiritual disciple deserves to be called a Dervish only when he lives in the world with no self-interest.

The lovers of God hear the talk of the Friend directly.

A sin committed does not harm an individual so much as looking down upon one's own fellow human beings.

Dhyanalinga" was consecrated by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, a realized master, mystic and yogi, after three years of intense process of prana prathista. Measuring 13' 9", Dhyanalinga is the largest mercury based live linga in the world. The temple is located 30 km west of Coimbatore, India, at the foothills of Velliangiri mountains. Hari Aum.(Invocation of Primordial sound) in the beginning the devas (Celestial beings) worshipped Lord Vishnu by means of a sacrificial fire(yagyan) by such religious deeds they attain greatness in heaven (the abode of the divine, Celestial beings).

Tarave jagaa taarunee maaya taataa,Namaskaar saashtaang Shri Sainaatha.
Those who remeber your feet everyday with pure devotion and thought, cross over this illussionary world. O! father, I prostrate and salute your O! Sainath.
Vase jo sadaa daavayaa santleela, Dise agna lokaanparee jo janaalaa
Paree antaree gnaana kaiwalya daataa, Namaskaar saashtaang Shri Sainaatha.
Appearing like as an ordinary person to the ignorant, he carries on His divine action(Leelas). He is the giver of inner spiritual knowledge and unity with God - I prostrate and salute your O! Sainath.
Baraa laadhalaa janma haa maanvaachaa Naraa saarthakaa saadhaneebhuta saacha
Dharoon Sayeepremaa galaayaa ahantaa, Namaskaar saashtaang Shri Sainaatha.
It is a great luck to be born as a human being. Human beings alone can do Sadhna(practices for obtaining purity and liberation). Hold on to the Love of Sai and kill ego. I prostrate and salute your O! Sainath.
Dharave karee saana alpagna baala, Karaave amhaa dhanya chumboni gaalaa
Mukhee gala preme karaa graas aataan, Namaskaar saashtaang Shri Sainaatha.
Hold the hands of ignorant children like us. Bless us with a Kiss on our cheeks, give us love. I prostrate and salute your O! Sainath.
Suraadeeka jyaanchyaa padaa vanditaantee, Sukadeeka jyaante samaanatva detee
Prayagaadi teerthen padee nasmra hotaa, Namaskaar saashtaang Shri Sainaatha.
Gods and others worship your feet. Say Suka and others treat you as equal. The prayag(confluence of rivers) and holy places bow at your feet - I prostrate and salute your O! Sainath.
Tujhyaa jhya padaa paahtan gopabaalee, Sadaa rangalee chitswaroopee milaalee
Karee raasakreedaa save Krishna naathaa, Namaskaar saashtaang Shri Sainaatha.
The Gopis are always delighted to see your feet. They always dance with Krishna-natha having immersed their thoughts in Him. Salutations with prostrations, Shri Sainatha.
Tulaa maahato maagane eka dhyaave, Karaa jodito deena atyanta bhaave
Bhavee mohaneeraaja haa taari aataan, Namaskaar saashtaang Shri Sainaatha.
I request you to grant me just one boon. I humbly fold my hands, and with deep faith, Mohaniraj (says, the composer of this part of Aarti) asks you: save me from this world of bewitching desires and ferry me across the ocean of existence. Salutations with prostrations, Shri Sainatha.

Aisaa eyee baa – Sayee digambaraa – Akshyaya roopa avataara
Sarvahi vyapaka too – Shrutisaara – anusayaatrikumaaraa – Aisaa eyee baa!
Such art thou, Sai Baba! Sai Digambara! Incarnation of the imperishible spirit, you are all pervading. You are the knower of the essense of the shrutis (Vedas), belonging to the lineage of the sage Atri and His wife Anusuya.

Kaashee snaana japa – pratidivashee – Kolhapura bhikshesee – nirmala nadi tungaa
Jala praasee – Nidra maahur deshee - Aisaa eyee baa
Everyday, bathing in the Holy waters of the Kashi and worshipping there; then going to Kolhapur for Alms; drinking the pure waters of the Tungabhadra and then sleeping at Mahur province (sleeping place of Lord Datta). Please come like this O! Baba.

Jzholee lombatase vaamakaree – trishoola damaroo dhari
Bhakta varada sadaa sukhakaaree Deseel mukti charee - Aisaa eyee baa
A ‘Jholi’ (bag for alms hanging from the shoulder) hanging on the left-shoulder, and carrying the trident ‘damru’ (kind of tabor) you bless the devotees with permanent happiness, granting them four-fold liberation viz. Resemblance to God, nearness to God, residing with the deity and absorption into the essense of Brahman. Please come like this O! Baba.

Paayee paadukaa japamaala – kamandaloo – Mrigacchalaa – dhaarana kariseebaa
Naagajataa – Mukuta sobhato maathaa - Aisaa eyee baa
Wearing wooden sandals, carrying Jap Mala (prayer beeds) Kamandalu (Container of water), wearing deer skin; on your head is the crown of serpent-like coiled tresses of your hair, which looks beautiful. Please come like this O! Baba.

Tatpara tujyaa je dhyaanee – akshyaya Thyaanche sadhanee – Lakshmeevasa karee
Dinarajanee – Rakshisi sankat vaaruni - Aisaa eyee baa
All those who meditate on you diligently have Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth, dwelling in their homes, day and night uninterruptedly (Lakshmi, otherwise is fleet-floated and does not stay in one place for a long time). You also protect them by removing all their difficulties. Please come like this O! Baba.

Sadaa nimba vrikshasya mooladhivaasaat Sudhaasravinam tiktamapya priyantam
Tarum kalpa vrikshaadhikam saadhayantam Nameeswaram Sadgurum Sainaatham.
Let us bow down to the God Sadguru Sainath who, By His constant abode under the margosa tree, whose juice though by nature is bitter and distasteful, has turned it nectar-like sweet, because He has exalted the tree above the legendary Kalpavriksh (the wish-fulfilling tree)

Nrinaam kurwataam bhukti mukti pradantam Nameeswaram Sadgurum Sainaatham.
Let us bow down to the God Sadguru Sainath, whom people go to worship and render devotional services, knowing Him to be Himself the kalpavriksh always; for those people he satisfies their worldly desires and grants them salvation
Anekaashrutaa tarkya leelaa vilaasaeih Samaavishkruteshaana bhaasvat prabhaavam
Ahambhaava heenam prasannathma bhaawam Nameeswaram Sadgurum Sainaatham.
Let us bow down to the God Sadguru Sainath, whose innumerable and wonderful Leelas(divine play), unheard of and unimagined, have displayed His divine splenderous glory; yet who is devoid of ego and is happily absorbed in the Self.
Sataam Vishramaaraama mevaabhiraamam sadaa sajjanaih samsthutam sannamadbhih
Janaamodadam bhakta bhadrapradantam Nameeswaram Sadgurum Sainaatham.
Let us bow down to the God Sadguru Sainath, who is the perennial abode of rest, repose and refuge for the virtuous people and to whom praises are directed by good and pious persons- He who is the bestower of happiness and welfare to His devotees.

Lord Sai is the avatar of Raghav (Incarnation of Ram), the Lord who fulfils the desires of His devotees for the purification of their infatuated and deluded hearts and minds – to whom I pray, day and night, untiringly and blissfully.

Sharat sudhaamsu pratrima prakaasam, kripatapaatram tava Sainaatha Twadeeya paadaabja samaashritaanaam, Swachhaayayaa taapamapaa karothu
Lord Sainath, the canopy of your mercy is like the intense lusture of the autumn moon. Grant the cool shade (from that canopy) from the blazing heat of the three-fold calamities of life to those who have taken shelter at your feet.

Upaasanaa Daivata Sainaatha, Sthavairmayopaasaninaasthu sthatwam Ramenmaromne tava paadayugme bhrungo, Yathaabji makarmda lubdhah
Lord Sainath you are my God, whom I worship. I extol your praises. Let my mind dwell lovingly at your lotus feet, just as the bee hovers over the lotus flowers enticed by the desire of honey.

Aneka janmaarjita paapasamkshayo, Bhavet bhawatpaada saroja darshanaat Kshamaswa sarvaanaparaadha poonjakaan, praseeda Sayeesa Sadguro dayaanidhe

Such art thou, Sai Baba! Sai Digambara! Incarnation of the imperishible spirit, you are all pervading. You are the knower of the essense of the shrutis (Vedas), belonging to the lineage of the sage Atri and His wife Anusuya.

Kaashee snaana japa – pratidivashee – Kolhapura bhikshesee – nirmala nadi tungaa
Jala praasee – Nidra maahur deshee - Aisaa eyee baa
Everyday, bathing in the Holy waters of the Kashi and worshipping there; then going to Kolhapur for Alms; drinking the pure waters of the Tungabhadra and then sleeping at Mahur province (sleeping place of Lord Datta). Please come like this O! Baba.

The pure celestial musicians, unsullied female deities or celestial nymphs may be annoyed with me. The moon, sun, other stars from the skies, the planets may be annoyed with me. Let the people call me a fool and laugh. Let envy not sting me. Let me delight at the touch of the feet of the Lord. Let me not get trapped by the mire of the world. Let not the fort of chivalry topple down. Let me not wish evil with anyone. Let me be angry with the worldly affairs I am engaged in. Let me be disinterested, and let that indifference stay firmly in my mind.
Kunaachihi grinaa naso na cha sprihaa kashaachee aso Sadaiva hridayee vaso manasi dhyani Sayee vaso
Padee pranaya voraso nikhila drishya baabaa diso Na Dattaguru Saayima upari yaachneela ruso.
Let me not be contemptuous of anyone. Let me have no desires. Let there be only Sai in my heart, intellect and meditation. Let my love be oozing towards the lord’s feet (As the cow’s milk begins to flow when she sees her calf). Wherever I look in the world, I should see him only. My Lord, do not deny me these above-mentioned entreaties.

8 Mantra Pushpam

Hari Om yagnena yagnamayajanta devaastaani dharmaani prathamaabyaasan Tehanakam mahimaanah sachanta yatra poorve sadhyaa santi Devaah;

Hari Aum.(Invocation of Primordial sound) in the beginning the devas (Celestial beings) worshipped Lord Vishnu by means of a sacrificial fire(yagyan) by such religious deeds they attain greatness in heaven (the abode of the divine, Celestial beings).

Aum rajaadhiraajaaya prasahya saahine namo vayam Vaishravanaaya kurmahe Sa me kaaman kaama kaamaya mahyam kameswaro Vaishravano tathatu. Kuberaraya Vaishravanaaya Mahaaraajaaya namah.

Baba Blessed Him With Job As Like Cholkar | Recieved On Share Ur Miracles

All our family members are Sai devotees and we will find Baba's Grace in every thing we do, without his grace, it was impossible for me to be in this position (am working as software engineer since two years). Here I want to post experience of my brother who got selected in SBI recently. He completed his P.G (organic chemistry) in May'06, he was searching for job in labs since then, but job as a fresher for a chemist is very tough and he didn't get through some written tests and some interviews. Time was passed (he worked as lecturer for some days) and finally in June '07, SBI clerical posts opened, he applied immediately for it as he likes bank job a lot since his childhood ,had taken coaching and attended the test which was held on Aug '19th,07. We didn't received any information regarding interview till October, he joined in A.P.Paper Mills Ltd then as a chemist which is there in our native place only temporarily. On Nov 30'07, on Thursday, he got call letter for interview and interview date was Dec 6th '07, Thursday. As both were Thursdays, we believed that he will get through easily. On the day of interview also, he was called first and everything went very cool. In February, results came out but he was not selected, we were disappointed because after joining in paper mill he didn't have enough time to prepare for other competitive exams, so he didn't write well. But my mother and I have strong belief that it won't happen like this as everything happened on Thursday only. After few months, we took it lite and he applied for same test as SBI is conducting again in July. My mother started 'Sai Navaguruvaram Vratam' on June'05, 2008.On that day evening, my mother is about start to go to baba temple, just then my brother has checked for posts in post box and told that he received a letter from SBI, Initially we thought, it was regarding exam center that will be held in July, But after opening it, he came to know that 'He was selected for the exam held on Aug'19, 2007'. This is a pleasant surprise to us. Really, Baba will definitely show grace on who surrenders to him completely but what he wants is 'Shradda and Saburi'. My kind suggestion to everyone is 'Do your responsibility and leave the rest to God, Have complete faith on Baba.

Great Miracle Experience Of A Devotee In Dutch

This happened two years ago on a Ganpati Visarjan here in Aruba (Dutch Caribbean) where I live with my wife and son. Over here the Arubian roads are not very hard roads. There is always some kind of sand on the road and there are lots of accidents every week.

My son Aditya didnt know how to swim in those days. After lots of persuasion from my wife and son, we went for the Ganpati Visarjan to the beach where this small function is done by group of Indians here in Aruba every year. My wife and I got busy in the final aarti done before Visarjan. I had warned my son not to go into the water, but after few minutes we heard a commotion and saw somebody from the group was holding my son¡¦s hand and bringing him out of the water.

We were told by the group that my son was almost drowning since he had gone little bit far and had shouted for help. I prayed to God and at the same time was very angry. We immediately left from there. My wife and son were sitting next to me in the front passenger seat. I was in a horrible angry mood and I was scolding my son and talking to him with my face turned towards him and at the same time I was driving at speed.

Suddenly I saw a roundabout right in front of me and had to brake very hard. The car hit the cemented roundabout and turned to the right side towards the sandy off road and stopped right in front a huge rock. If we had hit the rock we would have had a really horrible accident. Everybody was in a state of shock. I checked on my wife and son. We all were perfectly fine. Normally in this kind of accident I have heard from many people that it is possible to smash the head and nose. We had a very luck escape and the only effect was that the front right hand side wheel (tyre and rim ) had broken. Even this was fixed by the insurance company.

"Ek baal bhi banka nahin hone diya Sai ne". I always have a small marble Sai murti installed on the dashboard of my car which I had got from Shirdi when I had gone for vacation in 2003. I had put a small nice dress on it. So only the face of Sai was visible and not the entire body seated on His royal rock throne.

One month after this incident I was cleaning my car and thought of changing the dress of my Sai Baba on the dashboard. As soon as I took the dress out I saw Sai¡¦s leg was completely broken, but He was sitting in his perfect posture and looking at me as if to say (as quoted from Sai Satcharitra) So saying, He lifted up His Kafni up to the waist and showed to all present, four fully developed buboes, as big as eggs, and added, ¡See, how I have to suffer for My devotees; their difficulties are Mine.¡¦ Seeing this unique and extraordinary deed (Leela), the people were convinced as to how the Saints suffer pains for their devotees. The mind of the saints is softer than wax, it is soft, in and out, as butter. They love their devotees without any idea of gain, and regard them as their true relatives. "

I get goose pimples when I think of that incident; my eyes become watery remembering what my Sai did for me. Oh Baba what would I do without you. I am zero. I am nothing. You are the one; You are mine; You are everybody's.

My Baba took this on Himself for me and He is still doing this in all corners of the world for His countless devotees who regard Him as their own.

Shirdi Sai Baba appearance in a marriage ceremony

I would like to share with you all an incident of Shirdi Baba's appearance during a wedding. The incident of Baba's appearance, the version of which I have heard, is as follows.

The bride who is a devotee of Baba went along with her parents to Shirdi a few days before her marriage. She grew so emotional there that she wept before the Samadhi of Baba with an invitation to attend her marriage. Later the marriage was performed as planned. After the marriage celebrations was over the bride remembered her prayer to Baba at Shirdi and then wept in the night just before going to bed that she never experienced Baba's presence during the marriage.

That night Baba came in her dream and said: "Do not feel sad. I was there during your marriage. Open the album of photographs of your marriage and see the photo where you are all going in the procession. You can see me in that photo."

THAT NIGHT HE HAD A DREAM-SAI appeared in his dream and told him not to do the operation. Morning he narrated to his wife but then they thought it could be his imagination as he had gone to sai mandir and so he didnot take it seriously.

Again next day night, SAI appeared in his dream and said his wife will be alright and not to go ahead with the operation. Now he was stunned. He was sure THAT was SAI. HIS WIFE TOO BELIEVED HIM.

So, on Monday morning they cancelled the operation.Canadian Doctor was shocked and he said it is dangerous to do so for his wife might die but still they cancelled and returned home.

After 10 days the doctor called to check how the lady was and asked her husband to bring her to hospital for a check up. And YOU BELIEVE IT OR NOT- THERE WAS NO MORE HOLE IN HER HEART- IT'S A MIRACLE

Laxman Rao Marriage Miracle Recieved On Share Ur Miracles

Poor man named Laxmanrao Govindrao Munge lived in Nashik. He used to sit in the threshold of Nashik court. He did some documentation work and at the end of the day he earned only one rupee or one and half rupee.

In those days, for a girl to be given in marriage, only boy's qualification, salary, etc was not considered by her family. The boy may be poor, but his family, family's behaviour with others and above all maternal uncle's family had to be good. Laxmanraos maternal uncle lived in Rahata village. Due to his maternal uncle's good family background and high position, Laxmanrao's marriage was fixed in a good family. Now the question was of money for the expenses of his marriage. He had to compulsorily give gold ornaments and the whole expense of his marriage was to be borne single handed. Moreover in those days a man was valued by his word of mouth. If a man had promised to give something in social functions like marriage or similar occasions, those words could not be taken back. It would be better to consume poison rather than turn back from one's words.

Laxmanrao was worried about the expenses. Like a person has hope on a single star in a dark night, so Laxmanrao had hope from his uncle. He was confident that his uncle would help him in monetary terms. Thinking likewise, he started to Rahata to his uncle's place from Nashik. In between, he came to Shirdi, Sai Baba's holy land.

Laxmanrao came to Sai Baba's Dwarkamai and fell at His feet. Sai Baba gave him two mangoes to eat. The mangoes were incredibly sweet in taste. Then Laxmanrao sat massaging Sai Baba's feet. Sai Baba started talking with him and said, Whatever is written in your fate, you are bound to get. Always have a feeling of satisfaction in your heart and be happy with whatever you have. Without God's order, even a leaf cannot move. So dont worry and always try to be simple, honest and truthful. I am independent and have independent thoughts, is said by many people, but this is not true. God is the only Doer, we are dependent on Him, my son! No one is relative of anyone. Relatives are only for show off, but no one come to help you in critical situations. If you want one-two thousand rupees, I can give you. Laxmanrao failed to understand what Sai Baba wanted to say. He then left for Rahata to his uncle's place. His uncle refused to help him. Now Laxmanrao was reminded of Sai Baba's words that, No one is relative of anyone. Relations and relatives are only for show off. If you want I can give you money. Walking out of Rahata village, he further thought, Everyday Sai Baba distributes all the money received as dakshina and next day He becomes a poor Fakir. Then how can He give me such a big amount of money?But now he started praying to Sai Baba mentally, "Oh God, Sainath! You are omnipotent. I don't have that much courage to understand your sweet words. I am not very intelligent and my devotion to You is also less than that. Oh God! Bless me. You have promised me to give one-two thousand rupees, but I cannot understand the exact meaning of your words". Now he reached to a place named Sinnor.

There was a big business of cigarettes and tobacco of Gujarati traders in Sinnor and Laxmanrao was initially introduced to a Gujarati Trader. After a couple of meetings, the trader generated trust on Laxmanrao. So he gave Laxmanrao 30 Tolas (a tola means 10 gram of gold), a nose ring, which is considered to be very important in Marathi Tradition and a diamond studded pair anklets. In this way Sai Baba arranged money for the expenses of Laxmanrao's marriage being a poor Fakir. Is it not Sai Baba's Leela He Laxmanrao met the Gujarati trader and in turn was helped by a stranger. Thus by Sai Baba's grace, Laxmanrao's marriage went off without any trouble and he was ever grateful to Sai Baba.

Shirdi Sai Baba Blessed Narke With Job And Children..!!

Narke travelled far for his job but there was no stability in one place.Here the post is related to Narke's job stability....

Narke's relatives were asking what will happen of him seeing that he had such unsettled course of life .Narke would go long distant so his mother also wished and prayed to Baba for him to settle near home or Shirdi .Baba answered and told them "I will settle him at thingya”

Same time Narke got many job offers and each time he would go to Baba ,relying on his foresight and all seeing wisdom to guide he would go .Baba's choice was very strange at times.When once Narke went to ask baba about the choice between Calcutta and Burma Baba chose Burma ( distance more than Calcutta).He always would say "Go to Burma and thingya or go to such and such a place and thingya" adding thingya every time he made the selection.

Once In 1916 he had to choose between an offer from Banares of a professorship and a prospecting job at Burma. Baba told him "Go to Burma and thingya".Narke always laughed within himself at the addition of thingya as he was a Mining Engineer and thingya held no prospects for him.

It was in 1917 that the announcement was made that a Professor of Geology for the College of Engineering at thingya was wanted. He asked Baba if he should apply for the post. He said "yes' and went to thingya to see all people concerned. It was a tough work, as the applicants for the post were many and were supported by various influential persons.

After Narke left Shirdi. Baba inquired of the men there" Where is Narke gone?" They told him " He has gone to thingya, to try for the appointment" "Allah will bless" was Baba's remark.

He then asked whether Narke had any children and was informed that several were born but none survived (they died after a very short life). "Allah will bless" was again his remark..He secured the appointment in 1918 and was made permanent in 1919 in Pune; and children born since then were not short lived. Four sons he had secured by Baba's grace.In this way Babas foresightedness came true and Narke's life gained stability.

My name is Kamala Devi. I believe Sai Baba as my grandfather who saved my mothers' life. It was in Feb 1998 when we came to know that my mother had cervix tumor. The doctors said that it was in advanced stage. I did not know what to do. On a Thursday, I went to Saikrupa where every Thursday satsang were being organized by Mrs. Annapurna Devi who is a staunch believer of Sai Maharaj. My mother strictly followed the prescription by Baba . To our rejoice in june1998 we took a CTScan for her and incredulously the report came very normal that is there are no traces of cancer. Hence I feel that Baba has given gift to us and I am ever indebted to him. It is ineffable to describe his magnanimity

Lakhs of years have passed since the human origin this earth, yet we do not know our real Self. The entire creation has divine origin and the creator is SAI. He willed "I am alone, let me be many" and the creation manifested by His will. The present Human population of the world is around 650 crores but the principle of SAI is the same in everyone. There is awareness in our physical body and that awareness is true wisdom. The Vedas term this as "Constant Integrated Awareness", which makes the body, mind and intellect function. All that we find outside is nothing but the reflection, the reaction and resound of our inner feelings. We may think that we are separate from SAI but in fact, SAI and we are not separate.

We are in SAI and SAI is in us. We have all come from SAI.

Some argue that they do not believe in SAI, as He is not visible. How can we say the air does not exist because it is not seen? Our SAI is present everywhere at all times. None can decide that He is here and not there. He is everywhere. He is Omnipresent, Omnipotent and Omniscient.

Only through Love can one have the vision of SAI. Love is the fundamental force. In a heart filled with Love, there is no place for evil qualities like jealousy, lust, anger, hatred and ego. Once we develop Love within, we will never hate anybody. Only through Love and equanimity of mind the vision of SAI can be attained. We think that going to Church/Temple/Mosque or singing devotional songs and performing rituals is sufficient proof of our devotion to the LORD. It is not so, there is only one proof for showing our Love & devotion for SAI - by Loving our fellow human beings. Love is the most powerful force in the whole Universe. It is in fact God, for God is Love and Love is God. It manifests as the energy and is the power of attraction that controls everything from the sub-atomic particles to the planets, stars and galaxies. It is the gel that holds everything together. The world cannot exist without Love; Love is the cement that bonds it together. All are embodiments of Love and God resides as Love in the hearts of all. The one and the only thing that can bind us is Love.

Once Swami Vivekananda asked Shri Ramakrishna Paramahans whether He has seen God, to which Shri Ramakrishna replied, "Yes, I have seen God just as you are seeing me and I am seeing you. "Then how is that I do not see him" asked Vivekananda. Shri Ramakrishna answered "you weep for your family, you suffer for your business and wealth, but do you ever weep for GOD or yearn for a vision for God? Do that and you will certainly see God! All the time I am pining only for the vision of God, hence God is visible to me at all times in every human being".

The Purpose of our birth should be achieved by the sacrifice of everything to SAI. Sacrifice alone ensures immortality. We look for shortcuts in everything, even in spirituality. But surprisingly, spirituality does have a shortcut. There is no need to wander here and there in search of SAI. SAI is residing in our heart. If we turn our vision inward and see through the torch of LOVE we can see Him instantly.

Effective Immediately, please be aware that there are changes YOU need
to make in YOUR life. These changes need to be
completed in order that I may fulfill My promises
to you to grant you peace, joy and happiness in
this life. I apologize for any inconvenience,
but after all that I am doing, this seems very
little to ask of you. Please, follow
these 10 guidelines

1. QUIT WORRYING:
Life has dealt you a blow and all you do is sit
and worry. Have you forgotten that I am here
to take all your burdens and carry them for you?
Or do you just enjoy fretting over every little
thing that comes your way?

2. PUT IT ON THE LIST:
Something needs to be done or taken care of. Put it
on the list. No, not YOUR list. Put it on MY
to-do-list Let ME be the one to take care
of the problem. I can't help you until you turn
it over to Me. And although My to-do-list
is long, I am after all... God. I can take care
of anything you put into My hands. In fact,
if the truth were ever really known, I take
care of a lot of things for you that you never
even realize.

3. TRUST ME:
Once you've given your burdens to Me,
quit trying to take them back. Trust in
Me.. Have the faith that I will take care of
all your needs, your problems and your trials.
Problems with the kids? Put them on My list.
Problem with finances? Put it on My list.
Problems with your emotional roller coaster?
For My sake, put it on My list.. I want to
help you. All you have to do is ask.

4. LEAVE IT ALONE:
Don't wake up one morning and say,
"Well, I'm feeling much stronger now, I think
I can handle it from here." Why do you think
you are feeling stronger now? It's simple.
You gave Me your burdens and I'm taking
care of them. I also renew your strength
and cover you in my peace. Don't you
know that if I give you these problems back,
you will be right back where you started?
Leave them with Me and forget about
them. Just let Me do my job.

5. TALK TO ME:
I want you to forget a lot of things.
Forget what was making you crazy.
Forget the worry and the fretting because
you know I'm in control. But there's one
thing I pray you never forget. Please, don't
forget to talk to Me - OFTEN! I love YOU!
I want to hear your voice. I want you to
include Me in on the things going on in your life.
I want to hear you talk about your friends
and family. Prayer is simply you having
a conversation with Me. I want to be your
dearest friend.

6. HAVE FAITH:
I see a lot of things from up here that you
can't see from where you are. Have faith in
Me that I know what I'm doing. Trust Me;
you wouldn't want the view from My eyes.
I will continue to care for you, watch over you,
and meet your needs. You only have to trust Me.
Although I have a much bigger task than you,
it seems as if you have so much trouble just
doing your simple part. How hard can trust be?
7. SHARE:
You were taught to share when you were
only two years old. When did you forget?
That rule still applies. Share with those who are
less fortunate than you. Share your joy with
those who need encouragement. Share your
laughter with those who haven't heard any in
such a long time. Share your tears with those
who have forgotten how to cry. Share your faith
with those who have none.

8. BE PATIENT:
I managed to fix it so in just one lifetime
you could have so many diverse experiences.
You grow from a child to an adult, have children,
change jobs many times, learn many trades,
travel to so many places, meet thousands
of people, and experience so much. How can
you be so impatient then when it takes Me
a little longer than you expect to handle
something on My to-do-list? Trust in My
timing, for My timing is perfect. Just
because I created the entire universe in
only six days, everyone thinks I should
always rush, rush, rush.

9.. BE KIND:
Be kind to others, for I love them just
as much as I love you. They may not dress
like you, or talk like you, or live the same way
you do, but I still love you all. Please try
to get along, for My sake. I created each
of you different in some way. It would be
too boring if you were all identical.
Please, know I love each of your differences.

10. LOVE YOURSELF:
As much as I love you, how can you not
love yourself? You were created by me for
one reason only -- to be loved, and to love
in return. I am a God of Love. Love Me.
Love your neighbors. But also love yourself.
It makes My heart ache when I see you
so angry with yourself when things go
wrong. You are very precious to me.

The surgeon sat beside my bed; and my friends sat across him. "Tomorrow morning," the surgeon began, "I'll open up your heart..."

"You'll find Sai there," I interrupted.

The surgeon looked up, annoyed. "I'll cut your heart open," he continued, to see how much damage has been done..."

"But when you open up my heart, you'll find Sai in there." The surgeon looked to the parents, who sat quietly.

"When I see how much damage has been done, I'll sew your heart and chest back up and I'll plan what to do next."

"But you'll find Sai in my heart. "Gita, Bible, Koran" says He lives there. The hymns all say He lives there. You'll find Him in my heart."

The surgeon had had enough. "I'll tell you what I'll find in your heart. I'll find damaged muscle, low blood supply, and weakened vessels. And I'll find out if I can make you well."

"You'll find Sai there too. He lives there."

The surgeon left. After the surgery, the surgeon sat in his office, recording his notes: "...damaged aorta, damaged pulmonary vein, widespread muscle degeneration. No hope for transplant, no hope for cure. Therapy: painkillers and bed rest. Prognosis:" here he paused, "death within one year". He stopped the recorder, but there was more to be said. "Why?" he asked aloud. "Why did you do this? You've put him here; you've put him in this pain; and you've cursed him to an early death. Why?"

The Lord Sai answered, "The child, My lamb, was not meant for your flock for long, for he is a part of My flock, and will forever be. Here, in My flock, he will feel no pain, and will be comforted as you cannot imagine. His friends will one day join him here, and they will know peace, and My flock will continue to grow."

The surgeon's tears were hot, but his anger was hotter. "You created that Boy, and You created that heart. He'll be dead in months. Why?"

The Lord Sai answered, "The child, my lamb, shall return to my flock, for he has done his duty: I did not put My lamb with your flock to lose him, but to retrieve another lost lamb."

The surgeon wept. The surgeon sat beside my bed; my friends sat across him. I awoke and whispered, "Did you cut open my heart?"

"Yes," said the surgeon.

"What did you find?" I asked.

"I found Sai there," said the surgeon.

THE ENLIGHTENED BUTCHER

hii to all my blog viewers i have found a very good story in some web site which i am going to share with you now. This story reminds our duties and responsibilities ..!!

This story from Mahabharata brings to light that our spiritual achievement is useless if we neglect our duties or Dharma.

Kaushika was his parents' only son.

"Mother," he said one day, " I want to go off into the jungle and devote myself to spiritual studies. "

His mother said with concern, "But son, your father and I are very old. Your father is so sick he can hardly move. If you go away, what will happen to us? Who will attend to our needs?"

Kaushika did not listen. He was determined to study the Vedas. His mother cried in vain as she watched her son turn his back on her and leave for the jungle.

Eventually Kaushika acquired great mystical powers.

One afternoon, as he was meditating under a tree, a crane flew up, and perched herself on a branch above Kaushika. Some bird droppings fell on Kaushika's head. Kaushika furiously threw a fiery gaze at the crane.

The crane immediately fell dead.

The sage felt sorry for what he had done. "How could I have allowed my anger to take over me that way?" He mourned.

Later in the day, he went to a village to beg for alms. The lady of the house asked him to wait and went to get some food. Right then her husband arrived. She immediately set aside the pot of food she was taking to the sage and went to attend her husband.

After washing his feet, giving him food, and attending to his needs, she came back out to give the alms to the sage. The sage was very insulted. "You put your husband before a pious sage? Do you know the power of a Brahmin?"

She calmly replied, "Yes, a true Brahmin is he who has mastered his anger. Please do not threaten me, I am not a crane that will die by your fiery gaze."

The sage was amazed. "How does she know about the crane?" he wondered.

The lady continued, "Oh holy one! You are a learned Brahmin but you have not understood the truth about virtue. If you want to be enlightened, go to Dharmavyadha who lives in Mathura. Any one will tell you where he lives."

The sage thanked the lady and hurried to Mathura. "He must be a great and learned sage indeed," Kaushika thought to himself.

But when he finally reached Dharmavyadaha's place, he found it to be a butcher shop!

A very ordinary looking man came out and said, "Welcome holy one. I am Dharmavyadaha, the man you seek."

"How can a butcher be spiritually enlightened?" Kaushika asked in amazement.

Dharmavyadaha smiled and said with compassion, "I know the story of the crane and of the woman who sent you here. Come, let us go to my house. "

The sage could not contain himself and blurted out, "But butchering animals is such a sinful profession! Are you not ashamed?"

"I am not," the butcher calmly said. "I am engaged in a family trade. I work hard and honestly at it. There is no reason for me to be ashamed of my work!"

"Holy one," continued the butcher. "If I do injury to other creatures, so do you as you did to the crane. "

"As we walk on the soil, we are trampling on numerous creatures. Nor is the air devoid of creatures."

"You see that farmer tilling the land? He is killing so many animals that thrive under the soil."

They reached the butcher's house. The butcher's wife was doing her house hold chores and his two boys were playing.

The butcher introduced the sage to his wife and boys.

Then the butcher entered the house and touched his parents' feet.

"Here is a learned Brahmin who has come from a far-off place." the butcher told his old father.

"Welcome, holy one," the father said.

Before leaving the room, the butcher remarked, "My parents are my Gods. My wife and my children attend to them with devotion and love. We consider caring for them to be our greatest duty."

"In doing one's duty cheerfully, lies true virtue. This is what the dutiful wife sent you to learn."

"Oh learned one!" the butcher continued, "You have run away from your responsibilities and deserted your aged father and mother. Spiritual achievement is useless if one has neglected one's Dharma, or duties."

The sage remembered his mother crying, "Who will look after us when you are gone my son?"

A sparrow pulled by shirdi sai when he was over 60 years old :

Its my habit to give baba photos to anyone anywhere sometimes even in bus or roadsides if i find that person is good.I never feel shy to give baba photos in odd places. sometimes when people say NO also i will take it as sais gift though its a bit hurting...Once i gave baba photo to 60 year old man while sitting in bus who asked me "who's this ". I was surprised as that old grandpa even was wearing rudraksh and seemed to be leading a spiritual life wearing a saffron dress. I wondered how he dint know about our shirdi saibaba all these years. I felt gifted. Atleast after 60 years baba has pulled a new sparrow to him through me. Am just an instrument but the happiness i got matters.

One of my friend suggested the name "sai danvantri" while discussing about this site. Danvantri is the 11 avathar of Lord Vishnu and is considered as 'God of Medicine'.

What is karma :

What made me launch this Blog.Its my karma.You are reading. Thats your karma. If you find what ever i wrote is wrong and write me negatively , then i must bear that mail camly as a gift of sai. Thats my karma. While we are standing in rocky sea shore, we can hear sounds of big waves splashing but the big waves are formed out of various small waves which we don't hear. Similarly every small act we do is karma and these karma collectively get either to be a big bad karma or a good karma. Who knows what sins we have done in our present or previous births. sometimes we might have done sins unknowingly but the Law of nature ticks perfectly like a clock without missing a second.No excuse for any one for any reason.

As you sow, so you reap :

Loss of life is for body .Our soul is always living untill takes several births , involve in good karma and finally merges with God.Thats why they term it as " There is death for body but not for soal" . Its ever living. Though you or your relatives, friends would have not commited any sins in this birth, their soul would have commited a sin in previous birth. The collective bad activies of previous birth will be waiting for the right bad time based on the planetery situations to attack you. Its like a "pay back"..You did an action in some birth and now you get the reaction. The reason i write this para is first to help you understand do not blame God and our shirdi sai baba for your difficulties in life. What ever our soul did is recorded. According to me highly evolved spiritual people can see their own karma infront of their eyes and act accordindly. Thats why they dont mind suffering.

Every bad word we utter, every insult we do to others , every curse we get and every single harmful acts of ours is recorded

so when we suffer , we must realize ,we had planted a sinful seed which is reaping a painful fruit today.

Frustrated and worried since shirdi saibaba din't helped you yet ?

My objective has always been to help devotees who are facing in worst possible situation in life. A husband suffering from cancer, a wife suffering from uncurable disease, a small baby facing worst medical situation, a son or daughter who are jobless or working in a small company, a father or mother struggling for their life. I am addressing these children of shirdi saibaba whom sai considers as his affectionate kids.

I can feel the pain residing in your heart when you or your loved ones are suffering at home or in hospital or in life. When something wrong happens suddenly, we dont know how to react. The most common feeling that arises in us is "why din't sai help us even after all this ? ". If he is a saint who has ashta sidhis why cant he come down to your call and heal the pains of your friends and relatives immediately. The reason is ....

Karma is not trasferable :

I must explain you something very beautiful about how sai works to save his children . Baba always says he is humble servant of God.Even God of Gods love him because our shirdi sai is not like modern Gurus whom you see on tv promising instant benefits.

Our shirdi sai follows the Laws laid by God and Nature. Though sai himself is God incarnate, when we worship him as sai , he is Gurut .Even Lord Rama had to suffer pains when he took that avatar and was controlled by laws of nature. Shirdi sai's situation is same. One of babas assurance is "Keep all your burdens on me and i am ready to bear it " .

Baba only says keep your "Burdens". Baba never said "Keep your karma on my shoulder and i shall bear it" . Baba dint said it because the Laws laid by Gods and Nature doesn't allow sai to do it and he can't. Neither sai or any saint or holy Gurus can do it. Our karma must be beared by us, payed back by us for which we must go through sufferings and when we suffer the karma gets washed away. Please don't get frustrated or worried that sai is not caring for you. Sai does. He is trying his best. Its your time to face pains and soon sai will bless you with good days. No matter how much you try , you cant escape the effects of karma.

Shirdi sai can reduce the intensity of karma :

For what dam reason, a saint so polite with not a trace of ego asks you to always say " sai sai sai sai " .Does that mean he is proud of his name or he thinks you have no other work to do. When you remember "sai sai sai ", the evil spirits which uses your bad time to attack you will stay away.Though even this cant help you completely escape karma, Instead of a worst head injury which could damage brain, you could escape with very small scratches on the body.

The natural feeling of dejection when you are suffering :

Sai is a saint.He cares for us . He knows what ever is going on in your family. He knows the one suffering in pain crying to him. Do what ever you can to please sai but never ever say baba whats the use in worshiping you , i never get results " . This feeling is natural for anyone.My only request is don't let this feeling of dejection grow in you. Infact, by saying this you are embarrassing your own sweet Guru shirdi sai. Surely you will get results as per your devotion and the little dharma you do like giving food to hunger, clothes to poor or any good activity can please sai and help you wash your karma someway resulting in better health.

Baba do you really care for me ?

I know you pray this way. Only devotees who depend on sai and love him to core will ask him "Baba, do you atleast care for me one minute ? " Are you worried thinking why sai has not healed the pains yet ? If thats making you doubt if sai atleast cares for you , heres the proof .....

Shirdi sai loves you irrespective of what he does for you. The results you see infront of your eyes are just momentary.Again you might get into another problem and come to sai for help .The pleasures and pains is like a pendulam taking us on ride every other day but is "results" given by sai the only way you judge his love on you.

The very fact that you came to this Blog in your painful state of mind and read about what this little sai's servant like me wrote is a proof for sai's unmeasurable love on you and your dear ones .You are reading because already sai has blessed you and wants to show that he cares

Dependancy on shirdi saibaba cannot become affection :

You can always complain that he is not helping you but dont make your complaints survive more than 5 minutes. The next moment start to realize how much sai cares for you, if he has pulled you to him. Baba always says "Its not people who comes to see me and follow me by being an devotee, Its me who choose good souls and pull them to me like a sparrow tied to thread. "

To a saint who pulled you to him with affection , is it good if you expect blessings like business. Sai is not selling blessings.His caculator doen't have numbers.It has the nine forms of Bakthi and beyond all this sai only expects your affection on him. Dependancy cannot become affection. when you depend on sai for a materialistic benefits, you only see him as a "Giver" of things and not a loving sai mother. Do we love our mother only for what she is doing for us. Its the affection that our mom has on us which had registered in our heart.

similarly lets together perceive sai as a loving and caring mother who is trying his level best to bless us with healthy living.

Practically speaking sai devotees don't have time to understand sai :

I have seen people coming to few Saibaba mandhir with a deal. "Baba i will come to temple 7 thurdays , i will light candle, pay 100rs for Annadhan and sit for arathi and go , please help me get this and that " .....Deal is a deal. Baba has to do it. Because these devotees consider baba as saint sitting there with powers and all he wants to do is switch on a button and every thing will happen. .Please try to understand from sai's point of view. Sai looks at your atma which carries all your past bad karma .How can sai heal your pains with in a purticular time frame when you would have done sins which wants you to suffer longer duration.

Mukthi and Eternal happiness for Mahalsapathi :

The priest who first invited sai as "Aao sai " ( come sai ) was poor all his life. Mahalsapathi who was always with baba as a priest of Kandoba temple was given only food , clothes and very little money by sai to survive with his family. Even once when a rich devotee offered to give Mahalsapthi lots of money, baba asked him not to accept it. Is it baba's wish that Mahalsapathi who loves baba so much must suffer like that being poor. The reason is , Mahalsapathis ancestors or himself would have done so much of sins in past births that baba wants him to wash away the karma in that birth itself. What baba assured him is Mukthi and eternal happiness. Rest assured when Mahalsapathi lost his life , he would have reached the holy feets of our shirdi saibaba. Is it not worth suffering. To be forever in company of saint rather than having lots of money, good health and taking another birth and suffering in this earthly life. Similarly sai has his own way to treat and give to devotees what they deserve.

Shirdi sai will bless you and your dear ones with good healthy Life :

In some devotees cases , baba would have let them suffer because their karma must be washed away and only then can sai give them that eternal happiness. In your cases , baba might take time but surely if you totally surrender to him and involve in good acts of dharma from today, sai solves your problems and leaves you with great happiness in life If you read lives of very good souls they all would have suffered to core during their last few days. Especially because their remaining percentage of karma is being washed away .

So when you or your friend or your relatives are suffering from severe health problems or mental illness and if you are wondering why baba dint helped them , understand the fact. shirdi sai is also like our real mother who can give us medicines in the form of his blessings but each one is blessed in a different way.

Sai knows your present problem must be solved. I promise on my holy shirdi sai powerful words and give you his assurance "Do not worry, Baba will heal all your pains.Just stay near him calmly. " .Having complete faith from today on above words, please humbly pray baba, speak to him and plead him to help you. He will surely bless you.

Shirdi sai has been showing you motherly love for several births you took :

If our mother in this birth loves us so much , imagine how much should sai care for you , the one who has always kept his eyes on you and cared for you birth after birth. He would have followed you when you were an insect, ant or goat and again several births as human beings. So sai has also silently watched the sins you have done.How can he immediately act for what ever "prayers" you do . Can you guess what sins you have done in past. How To Cure People When They Are ill Or Serious?

Please try to do the following when someone you know is in pain :

When you are in pain , your mind will be weak too. Your faith on shirdi saibaba or any true Guru will certainly give boost to your mind.When your dear ones are suffering with health problems , please don't feel shy to do the following....

1.Udi mixed with water :

Apply udi in forhead and areas paining in the body.Give them Udi ( sacred ash ) mixed with water .Udi is the most powerful medicine.Baba has cured hundreds of devotees during his life time by giving udi and now millions of devotees who trusted udi are being benefitted. You can get Udi from shirdi or any shirdi sai temple near by.Baba has done miracles to many devotees who consumes this sacred water

2. Pray sai to charge water with his rays of blessings :

If you live abroad where its hard to get Udi , alternative way is to ask someone who is near them to hold a can of water praying sai to bless the water with his powers to heal the pain and make them drink it.

3.Visit temple, Light lamps - Do prayer at your house :

Please try to visit near by temple, Light lamps, do annadhan or any kind of good activities as per your ability and give the prasad to the person who is suffering. If theres no temples near by, Light candles or lamps in a tray under babas feet, do any offerings of fruits etc to sai and give those as prasad.

4. Keep sai satcharita near the person being treated :

Where ever you live, Please atleast take a print out of online version of sai satcharita and give it to the person who is suffering. Its ok if they can't read it. The presence of sai satcharita is enough. Baba knows whom to pull to that room and make them read or sai can even make the sick person read.

5.Speak about shirdi sai leelas, stories and incidents :

Always speak positively about the powers of shirdi saibaba .If possible tell them stories of your friends, relatives or those you find in sai satcharita or the miracles of devotees experiences you find in this site.Tell these stories of how baba helped and cured diseases . Tell them baba does no magic.All powers of healing is in their mind because baba is "Antar Vaasini - The one who lives from inside" . If their mind is filled with sai thoughts, if they always utter sai name and if they call sai sai sai for help, Surely sai will heal them .In addition to this ask them to be calm and be have patience .Sai will help them someday.

6. Chanting "sairam" - Any mantra :

Many sai devotees have experienced the presence of sai and his miracles when they remember sai by uttering his name regularly. It will be nice if you say sairam for hours togather or atleast try to chant when ever your mind remembers that you are supposed to do chanting. You can chant in following ways - "sairam" , "Aum sri sai ram" , "Aum sai sri sai jaya jaya sai", " Hari-Om Sai Ram"

When baba lived he encouraged Naam saptah for 7 days without break.We must atleast do it once in a while everyday.When person getting treated remembers sai sai sai, evil forces wont attack them .If they are in worst situation , You can do it on their behalf

7.Play shirdi saibaba song or arathi :

If the person suffering is at home, please let them hear or see arathi of shirdi saibaba if you have cds.This will create positive vibration at home.

8.Try to involve in any good humanitarian work :

If possible, try to do Annadhan , clothes or blankets to poor orphanage etc. Make sure the organisation you choose to give is using your things and money truthfully. I prefer avoiding big charity organisations because many are there to fund them.Find the deserving really needy people and say "sairam" when you give. This is what sai wants from us.Giving in the name of sai is powerful. It will wash away sins of your past birth. Dont spend lavishly all of a sudden. Even when you give as dharma give as much as you can afford.

9. Baba likes when you pray whole heartedly :

Some people think about other problems and other people watching them in temple etc while praying.When you pray there must be no "Wall" between you and sai. Express yourself to sai with your hands, with your legs and body.Trust me baba likes it. Dont cry purposely but if you feel like crying dont feel shy. sometimes sai uses our tears to wash away past karma. Many many days i had hugged baba photo and crying like child.I was in such unbearable pain in few issues and i know sai made me do it. When you pray looking at photo or statue of shirdi saibaba, just remember sai .When you close eyes imagine baba sitting in dwarakamai near dhuni and blessing you.If you love baba so much , i assure you can see him talking to you.

The below article is wrote for devotees facing worst health problems and based on my understanding of sai ways.Forgive me if there are any mistakes .

When body is not functiontion properly, it sends singal to the brain so that you will treat it and this signal is what we call as "Pain ". As we all know there's some good even in a bad thing, many disease will never be treated if you dont get pain or any other symptoms which hurts you. Apart from the benefit of helping you to get treated and bring your body back to good condition every time you get sick or your loved ones are diseased please do not feel let down as there's another positive aspect when they are suffering.

Infinite Power Of Healing Is In Our Mind

Let me surrender myself whole n soully to baba n give a start to share my first experience of sadguru tat has happened in my life a few years ago...

Hiii to all viewers...Here i go wit my memorable experience of BABA...right from my childhood i was a devotee of baba knowingly or unknowingly at tat age...My uncle(my dad's brother) was a very great devotee of sai baba...he used to participate in lot of bhajans,satsangs....n organise bhajans at his place very frequently..i was inspired alot by his immense trust n belief in baba...he used to visit shirdi quite alot of times..His house was totally surrounded wit baba photos n his matras..I still remember the day wen he took me to dilshuknagar baba temple wen i was 7yrs i guess..As usual there was bhajan being organised in my uncles's frnd house who was my neighbour n i participated in the bhajan very actively n enthusiastically...I used to participate in pre arrangements also like decorate baba fotos with flowers,light the deepas,distribute prashaad etc.,after the bhajan was over they were singing harathi n suddenly to everybody's astonishment there was "Vibhoodi" which surronded the baba's small silver idol which was being placed there..This was really a great miracle tat i have witnessed at a very tender age...with this incident roots of baba have started growing in me n have taken a concrete shape.I started trusting tat there is really someone called BABA existing who is truely miraculous and tat day my belief in sai baba maximised..That day onwards if sumone utters a word called "God" it is baba for me...From then n till today im a faithful devotee of shirdi sai baba...trust baba n leave ur burdens and rest of the life is really blissful....love all tat is wat is baba's tatva...

A Miracle Experience Of Devotee Named Hebbar

He had come into my life through different means, many a times. Then, I was naive and did not know the deeper meaning hidden in them. Today when I look back I understand that all was in divine plan.

It all began years ago, my sister found her strength in Shirdi Sai. She was His ardent devotee and so I was surrounded by His books, stories, et al. Nothing of this however, stirred 'that' chord in me. Then one day He came into my house, when a friend visiting Shirdi gifted me His idol. I placed Him in my prayer room with the other God's idols. Life went on....

During one of my regular TV channel surfings I chanced upon a serial based on the life of Shirdi Sai Baba. I saw it for a few minutes and went back to surfing. After a week, again I came across the same serial, which of course I saw for a few minutes and moved on. This happened for a while and I gradually started watching the serial for longer. Finally there came a day when I became a regular viewer of the serial.

Throughout the time of the serial, I was glued to the TV. I felt as if I was receiving answers to many complex questions of life. Somehow it made perfect sense and sat well on the situations and problems in my life. Was it just a coincidence or was there something more to it? I thought the latter. Days rolled by and one evening when I was watching the serial, I felt that Baba was asking me to visit Shirdi. I ignored the call and continued with my life. Six weeks later when I was watching the serial again, I heard Baba say "I asked you to come to Shirdi and you are ignoring me." It was a wake up call for me and I decided to leave to Shirdi immediately.

I decided to visit the Sai Baba temple in town at the earliest. Couple of days later as I was stepping into the temple, I saw the flower placed on Baba fall on the ground. I thought it was a good omen and I asked Baba to make my trip to Shirdi comfortable. I then remembered what people had said very often, "only if Baba wills, can you step on the soil of Shirdi."

As the queue was moving, I was going closer to Baba. I was just near him when all of a sudden, people in front of me made way

That evening I informed my parents about my plan to visit Shirdi and they immediately said that they knew a person who could be of help in Shirdi.

Finally I was on my way to Shirdi not knowing what to expect. I was not sure why Baba had repeatedly asked me to come to Shirdi. The bus journey of over 21 hours was comfortable and I reached Shirdi.

The man known to my parents had taken care of everything, including my stay, food and VIP darshan. This I took as a welcome sign from Him, for without His will no one could step on the soil of Shirdi.

On a bright very hot day, I stepped on the soil of Shirdi and that moment will remain etched in my memory forever. Everything taken care, I went into the temple for the darshan. For those who don't know, thousands of devotees throng the temple and for a darshan you would have to wait in queue for long hours. I however had a VIP pass and so went in easily. Sai in all his splendour had adorned his throne in the temple. It is an overwhelming experience which cannot be expressed in words.

Since there is a huge crowd of devotees, you get less than two seconds to see Him from close. As the queue was moving, I was going closer to Baba. I was just near him when all of a sudden, people in front of me made way and I stood there close to Baba uninterrupted, for long. This was an unusually long period than what one usually gets. Thrilled I was that I had finally made it. With joy in my heart I left the temple premises.

I wanted to then visit Dwarakamai, the place where Sai lived. When I reached there, seeing the long queue I decided to first visit the Chavadi *(Baba used to sleep here every alternate day). After the Chavadi darshan I came to Dwarakamai and looked around in awe, for this was where Sai, walked, Sai talked, Sai healed and Sai lived. The fire he lit then, is still kept burning. It is from here that one gets the Sai prasad of 'Udhi' (miraculous ash). I sat in the centre of Dwarakamai, with eyes closed. I began reveling in his presence.

Not satisfied, I wanted more.... I wanted to see Him, I wanted to know why he had called me to Shirdi, I wanted to know that he was there for me, to protect me, to take me on a Spiritual journey. I prayed. I prayed asking Him to bless me with his presence, to appear before me just as He is, in a way that I could recognize him. My heart cried in pain for the desire to see Him and be assured that He was with me guiding me through.

After some time in meditation I left Dwarakamai. Next morning too I got a VIP pass for the morning aarti and went in to see Him. It was followed by a visit to the Chavadi and Dwarakamai many times during the day. Meditating here was a truly enriching experience. With the shlokas and the mantras in the background and the devotees singing along, it was as if I had found the missing link in my life.

Happy that my trip to Shirdi was fruitful, I went to bed that night. When I woke up the next morning, it dawned on me that my visit was not fruitful after all. I had two darshans in the VIP slot and felt what was the point in visiting Shirdi, if I could not stand in the normal queue like most others, chant the Sai nama and then get his darshan? So, I decided to stand in the queue, knowing fully well that the queue would take atleast 3 hours to clear and that I had to take the bus at 12 noon the same day. After about 3 hours I finally got the darshan and the feeling cannot be described. As I was nearing the pedestal where He sat with all glory, I saw devotees asking the priests for flowers.

I then saw a Fakir just ahead of me standing with his bag (jholi) outstretched for offerings.

The flowers and garlands blessed by Sai, where being put into a corner by the priests for the devotees to collect. Determined to get my share, I moved on to collect a garland. As I bent down, to take the garland, I noticed that there was just one garland left in the basket. I happily grabbed the garland and suddenly from nowhere an old lady bent and frail (I had not seen her in queue) reached out for the same. Seeing her reach out to the same garland I handed over the garland to her. Just as I placed the garland in her hand, a big, nice and fresh garland came flying and fell on my shoulders. I felt His power and grace that very minute. My heart was filled with the assurance that He was with me.

Contented and filled with Sai's grace, I went to visit the Chavadi and Dwarakamai. There was a huge crowd but that did not deter me. As the crowd moved on I looked around savouring the walls, which Sai would have touched.

I then saw a Fakir just ahead of me standing with his bag (jholi) outstretched for offerings. I took out my offering and gave it in his hand. He signaled to drop it into his bag. As I dropped the offering into his bag and looked at him, his aged body began shaking deliriously. He lifted his hand and blessed me exactly the same way that I had seen Baba bless people. Just then, like a flash of lightening I realized that in the last two days , I had not seen any fakir inside Dwarakamai. Only then did I remember my cries to Him and my request to see him in a form that I could recognize. That instant I turned back to look and lo behold, He was not there. I knew it was Him. I had seen Him, I had seen Baba!

Story behind the sai vrat pooja :

Kokilaben and her husband Maheshbhai used to live in a big city and they had lots of love for each other. But Maheshbhai’s nature was very annoying and he had no sense of talking. Neighbors were also very much frustrated by his this kind of nature. Kokilaben had lots of faith in GOD and she was very religious.

She was tolerating all her problems silently having lots of faith in GOD that GOD will make everything all right one day. But because of Maheshbhai’s nature, their business went down gradually and there was not enough income. He started staying at home all day and his nature become worst.
It was an afternoon. One old saint came to Kokilaben’s door. There was enormous light on his face. And he asked for rice and dal (lentils). Kokilaben gave him rice and dal and she folded her both hands and said “namste” (greetings).

Saint replied “SAI will always keep you happy.” Kokilaben said “There is no happiness in my life” and she told all her problems to the saint.
After listening to all her problems, Saint told her about

“SAI NAV (NINE) GURUWAR (THURSDAY) VRAT”.

Saint told as follows about the Vrat.

· This Vrath can be started from any Thursday by uttering SAI BABA’s name.

· This Vrath has to be continued for 9 Thursdays.

· Any male, female or child can do this Vrat.

· On these Nine Thursday, individual who is doing vrat can eat fruit/milk/sweets etc. all day long or can have one meal a day. ONE MUST NOT DO THIS VRAT WITHOUT EATING ANYTHING.

· If possible, go to SAI BABA’s temple to have SAIBABA’s darshan on these Nine Thursday.

· At home, do pooja / prayer of SAI BABA as follows.

· In the morning or in the evening, do the pooja as mentioned below.

· Put Yellow Cloth in front of you and place SAI BABA’s Photo or Statue on this cloth.

· Light lamp (diya) in front of BABA’s picture.

· Wash or wipe BABA’s picture with clean water and cloth.

· Put “tikka (Bindi on the forehead)” with “kumkum” (red powder) on BABA’s face.

· Offer Yellow Flower to BABA.

· Offer Fruit or Sweets to BABA as Naivadhya (Prasad)

· Read this SAI story and Read / Sing SAIBABA’s Aarti after finishing Pooja and reading story.

· Tell BABA why you are doing this Vrat and ask him to fulfill your wish.

· Give Prasad to all your friends and family members and you also eat it some.

· If, because of any reason, you cannot do vrat on any Thursday, skip that Thursday and continue from the next Thursday.

· If female is doing this Vrat, skip the Thursday during Menstrual Cycle period.

· On the 9th Thursday, Celebrate SAI VRAT. In this celebration process, feed 5 poor people and distribute this SAI VRAT book among people. One can give 5, 11 or 21 etc.

Since i get mails from shirdi saibaba devotees who cant donate food : Saibaba devotees living abroad and those who are not able to give food , can give some sweets to your friends or childrens near by. If possible send money to your relatives in india or request them provide food to poor people sitting outside temple or generally distribute sweets to devotees in any temple.Its better to make childrens happy by giving them any toys, books sweets etc. The point is you are inlving yourself in a good deed.

· Put this SAI VRAT Story Book or printed paper , which you are going to distribute among people, when you do pooja and then give them to people. By doing this, their wishes will be fulfilled very soon too.

Since few saibaba devotees living abroad are not able to get this book , you can also distribute Sainath stavan manjari provided in this site. Take a print out and send to your friends or send the link with personal message to close friends.

· All wishes will be fulfilled by doing this vrat.

In this Kali Age (Kaliyug), this vrat is very effective. This vrat will give desired fruit to doer but doer must have full faith and patience. Whoever will distribute this SAI VRAT book among people and make good name of SAI and this Vrat, their all wishes will be fulfilled.

After listening about this SAI VRAT from Saint, Kokilaben also decided to do this vrat. She started Vrat from the Thursday. And she finished 8 Guruwars with full faith. On the 9th Guruwar, she fed poor people and distributed SAI VRAT books among friends and relatives.

As soon as she finished the Vrat, all the quarrels vanished from her house. Prosperity, happiness and peace spread in her home. Maheshbhai’s nature was changed completely. Their business started doing well. And in no time, they got all the happiness and prosperity.

Both husband and wife started living happily. One day Kokilaben’s sister-in-law and brother-in-law came from Surat. Her sister-in-law was talking with Kokilaben. The former said that her kids were not studying and getting failed in exams. Kokilaben told her about SAI VRAT. She said “SAI devotion will make education better. Have faith in SAI BABA. HE helps everyone.” Kokilaben’s sister-in-law asked the detail of the vrat.

Kokilaben told about the SAI VRAT in detail. And explained her everything about the vrat. Her sister-in-law went to Surat and she sent a letter after few days. She wrote that her children have started doing SAI VRAT and now they are studying very well. She also did Vrat and distributed SAI VRAT book in her office. One of her friend, who had very hard time in getting married, got married to a very nice man after started doing SAI VRAT. Her neighbor has also started doing SAI VRAT and she got her stolen jewelry box back. It was a great miracle.

I have not done this pooja myself but my sai friends has done. 1. Where do I get Sai Vrat Katha book?

Many devotees have got desired fruits from this Vrat. By word of mouth it is becoming very popular and it has won trust of many devotees. Every devotee desiring to do the vrat has this foremost question in his/her mind. Well now a days Sai Vrat Katha book is easily available in shops nearby Sai Baba temples in India. 2. Why should I observe fast if not recommended by Baba?

This question will certainly arise in a devotee's mind who has read Sai Satcharitra. I too agree with the same. But also on the other hand i have experienced miracles by doing this vrat. More than materialistic things for which i started the vrat, i got to see spiritual aspects. It seemed as a chance to me get more close to Baba. It is not unknown that Baba pulls His devotees by fulfilling all their wishes and then make them His forever. I request devotees not to do this Vrat just to test Baba. Only thing needed is full faith on Baba and He is sure to sail us across. In the end i leave it to reader's discretion to observe this fast or not.

3. Who can do this Vrat?

Anyone whether male, female and even children can do this Vrat. Old and Sick persons can avoid it. Still if its devotee's wish to do Vrat, Baba will take fullest care! Devotees of any caste/religion/creed can do Vrat only full faith on Baba is required.

4. Should i start this Vrat from any special day?

There is no such rule. It can be started from any Thursday by taking Baba's name and seeking His help and grace for desire for which the Vrat is taken up.

5. What is the procedure of Vrat?

Sai Baba must be worshipped in morning or in evening. Sai Baba's photograph must be placed on a yellow cloth. Clean the photograph with clear water. Tilak of Chandan (sandalwood) and Kumkum must be applied to the photograph of Sai Baba. Yellow coloured flowers or garland must be offered to Sai Baba, incense sticks and lamp must be lighted and then the main story of the vrat must be read. Sai Baba's name must be remembered and then prasad must be distributed.

6. What else should be read/chanted apart from Vrat story and Sai Baba Arti?

Again there are no hard and fast rules in this. Sai Baba Arti is sufficient, still if you wish you can chant Sai Chalisa and Sai Bavani given in Vrat book.

7. What can be given as Prasad?

Prasad may consist of some sweet, dry fruit or fruits.

8. What can be eaten in this Vrat?

Vrat can be done only by eating fruits, sweets or drinking milk, tea or coffee. It can also be done by taking one time meal in evening. It should not be done by not eating anything. A devotee had asked me whether she can eat potatoes, cucumber and tomatoes during this vrat. The answer is yes.

9. Is it compulsory to visit Sai Baba Temple?

No it is not. But it is preferred. If any unavoidable circumstances exist then Baba can be worshipped at home only. Only thing required is full faith!!!

10. Can i do Vrat if i am not at home or when I am travelling?

Yes you can. Baba has not laid any compulsions for worshipping Him. This applies in this Vrat also. Again only thing required is full faith!!!

11. What if i miss any Thursday(s) due to unavoidable circumstances?

That Thursday(s) should be skipped and following Thursday(s) can be considered in counting Nine Thursdays. The same applies for women if they are going through menses.

12. Is it compulsory to conclude Vrat on nineth Thursday?

Yes it is.

13. How Vrat is concluded?

Vrat is concluded by visiting Sai Baba temple on nineth Thursday, feeding five poor people and distributing 5,11 or 21 Sai Vrat Katha books to your friends and relatives to increase Sai Mahima.

14. What if Sai Vrat Katha books are not available for distribution?

As said earlier they are easily available in India. For devotees residing abroad they can mail scanned copies of books. Before giving/sending Sai Vrat Katha books please make sure from the recipient that he/she will do Vrat.

15. What if I cannot feed poor people?

Devotees residing abroad generally face this question. In such cases devotees can request their relatives to feed poor people in India on their behalf. If they wish to do the same themselves then they can keep food articles in any nearby Sai temple and request temple authorities to offer these food articles as prasad. They can also give food donation to any Sai temple or directly to Shirdi Sai Baba Sansthan Easy Donation Facility.

16. What if I reside abroad and cannot do Vrat on Thursday being a working day?

I got a mail asking this question from a lady Sai devotee. Let me first her question with you. She asked, "Dear Hetal, Om Sai Ram. I have done this vrat a year back and had amazing results. Can I ask you a question? We reside in Dubai and for us to do the vrat on Thursdays becomes a bit difficult as our weekends are on Friday/Saturday. Can this vrat be done on any other days, e.g. every Wednesday or Sunday?? Kindly advise. In Baba's yaad."

This is Nine Thursday's Baba's Vrat, so it cannot be done on any other day. The reason is quite logical and i dont think i need to explain. Well, in this case, it can be advised that if the lady cannot do Vrat on Thursdays, being a working day, she do vrat by eating recommended food in point 8 above and take one time meal in evening, thus not being hungry whole day!!! If this also does not work, she can avoid doing Vrat. Baba has never advised fasting in adverse circumstances, she can pray Him whole heartedly to fulfill her wish. It is not true that Baba fulfills wishes and desires of only those who do Vrat.

17. What if there is some tragedy in my family and if i need to do the Vrat?

My Journey Of Life | Lesson To My next Generation

hii to all my friends and followers of this blog. Today i want to share my life with all my readers. Although there isn't great to tell my purpose of sharing is that my successors or my next generation will be beware or aware of the things and reality in life. Here i go with a clear explanation of me and my life.

My name is Aditya Karan. I am 21 years old guy with lot of ambitions in career and life. I have spend most of my childhood near my grandmother as both mom and dad are working. Till tenth standard i was with her later my dad has got transferred to another city i left her and joined intermediate. I have enjoyed lot with my parents those two years and successfully completed intermediate. Due to social pressure or by competitive pressure or lack of awareness i have written engineering entrance and qualified in that and got seat in my home town so i need to leave my parents and stay with my grandmother again and complete my engineering four years. First day of my engineering was awesome and memorable that senior ragging and that was the first time i have got into a city bus and unfortunately i fell down trying to get down from a running bus.

That was all a brief about my life till graduation. I didn't had any ambitions in my life it was in graduation I turned myself, various factors influenced me in doing so. One of the major factors was my parents. Since childhood i used to observe my parents keenly how they struggled in their life. Both my parents have passed the phase of dark age for 18 years. Keeping this in mind i aimed to go to USA to do masters degree over there and earn money and gift to my parents. In this process i have done fairly good in engineering and passed in distinction. During these four years i have met various people and mingled with various mentalities and also acquired very good friends who are very close to my views. During the pre-final year i and one of my friends have decided to go for GRE and Toefl and successfully completed it and also applied to universities in USA.At the end of fourth year we both got Admit from same university and there were no leaps and bounds for our happiness. Whenever i used to get any holiday or any occassion i used to go near my parents place and enjoy a lot.

This life story is supposed to be a golden globe then whats there to be shared and learned? I am sure u ppl gonna think like this but for every good start there ends a bad one. Same happened to me i supposed my life would be very happy but later i realised that all my desires were like water bubble which bursted later and couldn lasts long. Ok, enough of comparisions let me get into story now, I have completed engineering successfully, I and my friend were getting ready to leave to USA for fall2009, here starts my downfall this is the first step, world economy has been severly hit by recession and scared my near and dear one's.At that particular time lots of news were bubbled in channels about bankruptcy of top companies and loss of jobs and also black attacks in USA. This has created tremors in my parent's and near and dear one's mind.They have requested me not to go there and asked me to stay here out of effection. I couldn't digest that proposal as that was my life ambition, even then i thought i will convince my parents and leave to USA. But bad luck always resides with me , it in the form of cousin injected fear in my mother and my mind saying that there were no jobs there and all the loan amound taken wil be gone in vein after completion of MASters degree course. Listening to this dialogue i feared myself, i have given second thought. I have gone through lots of sleepless nights, i couldn decide anything as i am not finding any alternative, finally one day i decided to drop Masters degree plan because i thought that it doesn't matter to my parents even if i dont give anything to them but it matters a lot if i gift them liabilities and debts as gifts. My heart couldn't digest it as its not accepting to give risk to my parents who have struggled for 18 long years. Then, finally decided to stay in INDIA. Now let me narrate about my friend, who has got admit in same university. He tried me to plead a lot and convince me saying that position over there is very good and put all your fears aside and pray to baba and come with me, but i have refused his wrds bluntly saying he is wrong. Finally, the result is he has worshipped guru and he has been saved from this recession and searching jobs and I as baba quoted in his book " Evaraithe nannu marachedharo MAAYA vaarini shikshinchunu" | " whoever forgets me they will get into worldly affairs and get lost in that", same thing applied in my case i didn't worship baba at that time and as a result my life started getting deteriorated. Later my friend left to USA and i stayed in INDIA foolishly searching for a job in this recession. My life started deteriorating and lost charm,i roamed on roads desultorily. I couldn't find myself a single job, only thing i used to do is to listen to sad songs of KK and Rafi.

All the readers please make note of this above point of how life beciomes desultory when u dont be under guidance of guru and when you dont have SHRADHA.

In the above manner i have passed my life two months and in august my birthday turned up and that day was so wrost and left most saddest memories as my house was under theft. Few months have passed away after august and in september i had an interview with a company in pune, that was a lighthouse for me, i did extremy well but there wasn't any response from that side so i lost even that opportunity. I thought of giving a try with my and my dad references so i forwarded my resume to number of people but none got back and helped me infact, i faced lot of insult by one my dad friend. Now i got used to every thing in life, fialures has become part of my life. See the difference earlier success was part of my life now vice-versa..!! thats life i think!! Later after sept in october i realised the importance of guru and started worshiping shirdi sai baba to help me out. I have even did parayana of shirdi sai baba so that all my troubles gets dwindled and ill live happily worshiping baba but as saying in telugu says "KAANUNNADHI KAAKA MAANADHU ADI EE KINDA VIDANGA JARIGINADHI", every day, every min life became worse , my heart and mind got heavier thinking toooo much.Every day morning i used to perform pooja of baba and used to engage myself in some course till evening.As the day was getting end my mind used to get into depresion and heart gets heavied and even now i am in same phase. ALl the readers will ask me a question by now of why did they keep the tears picture above , i have my reason because, i love to cry as it swipes out all the emotions,worries outside and helps in relieving the mind and also lightens the heart. To my sin i am not getting a single drop from my eye as all are exhausted and i am facing lots of problems in tackling my mind. It always keeps in swinging mode , its dangerous..!! The greatest punishment perhaps is not getting a single drop as it creates lot of havoc inside and all agony is getting accumulated inside which is not letting me to even sleep

Finally, i would like to share one last view and withdraw, one of my friend has recently written sai name one lakh times and he is not even aware of shirdi sai baba life history nor his greatness but after completing this he got job within one week. See, the holy shower of shirdi sai baba , this proves that i am not even worth a fig and worship and seva which i did is waste and i am not eligible in his views..!! Anyways i am happy that my friend has got benefitted by serving baba..!!

Dont know till how many years ill be haunted by same bad luck which has haunted my parents but i really hate my life but gotta live and struggle for existence. Please my dear readers try to take good from this and devise your future goals accordingly and realistically keeping your family,financial conditions. Always get geared to fight in life..!!Dont try to leave baba as me, now my career has seized and also i dont have mental peace.!!
Pray baba even if he doesnt listen to your prayers as some one fine day he will listen and shower his holiness on us.

Greatest Miracle I have Experienced Yesterday(Thursday 12th November)

Firstly, let me bow my head in front of shirdi sai baba who has shown such a great miracle in my life and given an opportunity to share with all my blog viewers.

All sai devotees must have seen above Gold photo of shirdi sai baba, it is very attractive and famous, since very long time i have been trying to laminate that into very huge photo. I wanted to Develop that photo into very big photo to cover my entire wall of Hall, in this view yesterday i have approached a photo studio, on examining the photo he said that he cant enlarge into such big size as it distorts the clarity of picture but he can enlarge to a palm size. I was disappointed listening to it and i thought i would have satisfied atleast i could get a reasonably big photo.
I forgot about the photo thinking that i am not blessed by baba. I had some other work after seeing that, i thought of going to baba temple nearby as it was auspicious day yesterday. I have stopped my bike infront of temple but sadness, i couldn't even see baba face as it was heavily crowded. After this incident i have become even more disappointed and thought baba is not willing to even bless me and turned bike back. After going some metres i have seen a shop where they are selling all the pooja materials, suddenly i have got some intuition in my mind saying "Please see here u will get Photo", i thought this is the order of shirdi sai baba and stopped bike there. The fact is that there was not a single photo as they ran out of stock. Again i was disappointed thinking why is this day so worst for me what mistake i did? Again i had an intuition that "please be patient and stay for ten min", then i thought y don't i wait for another ten min and see whats going to happen. Exactly after ten min an auto carrying photos has approached that shop to unload over there. I felt very happy looking anxiously for the most awaited photo, he has unloaded all the photos and about to leave from there but i didn't get the photo which i am expecting. I was totally down this time and about to start my bike and that auto fellow was about to leave then i noticed a gold edged frame in that bulk of photos suddenly, i stopped auto fellow immediately and took that photo out of that group and astonishingly it was the one which i am looking for. I have purchased that photo and felt very happy thinking that Shirdi sai baba has come to my house on thursday.

One of India's oldest and most venerated pilgrimage sites, Dwarka's archaeological and historical background is shrouded in mystery. Mythologically, Dwarka - or Dvaravati as it is known in Sanskrit - was the site chosen by Garuda, the Divine Eagle, who brought Krishna here when he departed Mathura. Krishna founded the beautiful city and lived there the remaining years of his life until he died (according to legend) in 3102 BC. Scholars confer that the oldest parts of the Jagatmandir temple may only date to the reconstructions of the Gupta period in 413 AD.

In the 7th century the sage Shankaracharya established four great monasteries in the cardinal directions of the country (Sringeri in the south, Puri in the east, Joshimath in the north, and Dwarka in the west). This emphasis on Dwarka further increased its importance as a pilgrimage destination. The original temples were destroyed during the 11th century by Muslim armies; frequently rebuilt, they continued to be attacked by the Muslims through the 15th century. The existing temple of Jagatmandir, also known as Sri Dwarkadish, dates from a 1730 rebuilding. It is 52 meters tall, and enshrines an idol called Sri Ranchhodrayji. The temple stands five storeys tall and is built on 72 pillars.

Students of the science of archaeoastronomy will recognize significance in this number 72, one of the most important numbers in the so-called ‘precessional code’ (re)discovered by the scholars Santillana and von Dechend. The astronomical phenomenon of precession concerns the very slow wobble of the axis of the earth and its effect for earth-bound observers of a gradual and cyclical slippage of the belt of the zodiac against the rising point of the sun. This precessional slippage operates at the rate of one degree every 72 years and means that each constellation houses the sun for an average of 2160 years. All twelve constellations take 25,920 years to pass completely through the cycle. These numbers of 72, 2160, 25,920 and various permutations of them have been shown by Santillana and von Dechend, in their book Hamlet’s Mill, to be mysteriously present in ancient myths and sacred architecture all around the world. While little archaeoastronomical study of Jagatmandir temple has so far been conducted, the presence of the number 72 in so important a part of the temple’s architecture suggests that future studies will result in many fascinating revelations.

Besides being a Sapta Puri, a Dhama, and a Shankaracharya Mutt, Dwarka is also visited by large numbers of pilgrims because of its association with the great bhakti saint Mira Bai. One of India's most popular saints, Mira Bai renounced her splendid life as the wife of a powerful 16th century king to dedicate her days to the worship of Lord Krishna. Mira Bai followed the spiritual path known as Bhakti Yoga, which is characterized by a devotional love of god. Much easier to practice (and perhaps more efficient at producing spiritual enlightenment) than other yogic methods which require textual study and great discipline, Bhakti Yoga is the primary religious method of India's teeming masses. The path of the Bhakti yogi is essentially the practice of invoking the presence of the divine through adoration of a statue, icon or painting of a deity. In Mira Bai's case, as with many other saints in India's long history, this invocation called forth not only the felt presence of the deity but actually a living, moving form of Krishna. Similar to the physical apparitions of Mary and Christ to devoted Christians, Krishna visited Mira Bai to eat, sing, dance and play with her. Mira Bai lived the final years of her life in Dwarka and there wrote to Krishna her immortal poems of love. Krishna, the preeminent devotional deity in Hinduism is venerated here and legions of bhakti yogis such as Mira Bai have infused the temple with a power of love. The pilgrimage shrine of Jagatmandir in Dwarka is thus highly charged with the quality or energy of devotion and will awaken and amplify that quality in visiting pilgrims.

Ancient legends of Dwarka tell that the holy city was long ago entirely swept away by a great wave of water. This legend, disregarded by contemporary historians and archaeologists, has recently been given credence by findings of the new science of inundation mapping, which produces accurate models of ancient shorelines at specific dates. The legend has been given further support by oceanographic studies which have proven the existence of submerged temple structures off the coast of Dwarka.

Other sacred sites associated with Krishna are Mathura, Vrindivana, Gokula, Barsana, Govardhana and Kuruksetra.

Why fear when I am here?

My business is to give blessings.

I get angry with none. Will a mother get angry with her children? Will the ocean send back the waters to the several rivers?

I will take you to the end.

Surrender completely to God.

If you make me the sole object of your thoughts and aims, you will gain the supreme goal.

Trust in the Guru fully. That is the only sadhana.

I am the slave of my devotee.

Stay by me and keep quiet. I will do the rest.

What is our duty? To behave properly. That is enough.

My eye is ever on those who love me.

Whatever you do, wherever you may be, always bear this in mind: I am always aware of everything you do.

The four sadhanas and the six Sastras are not necessary. Just has complete trust in your guru: it is enough.

Meditate on me either with form or without form, that is pure bliss.

God is not so far away. He is not in the heavens above, nor in hell below. He is always near you.

If anyone gets angry with another, they wound me to the quick.

If you cannot endure abuse from another, just say a simple word or two, or else leave.

Harsh words cannot pierce your body. If anybody speaks ill of you, just continue on unperturbed.

Meditate on what you read and think of God.

I give my devotees whatever they ask, until they ask for what I want to give.

You should not stay for even one second at a place where people are speaking disrespectfully of a saint.

If you do not want to part with what you have, do not lie and claim that you have nothing,

but decline politely saying that circumstances or your own desires prevent you.

Let us be humble.

Satsang that is associating with the good is good. Dussaya, or associating with evil-minded people,

is evil and must be avoided.

What you sow, you reap. What you give, you get.

Recognize the existence of the Moral Law as governing results. Then unswervingly follow this Law.

All gods are one. There is no difference between a Hindu and a Muslim. Mosque and temple are the same.

Fulfill any promises you have made.

Death and life are the manifestations of God’s activity. You cannot separate the two. God permeates all.

Mukti is impossible for those addicted to lust.

Gain and loss, birth and death are in the hands of God.

When you see with your inner eye. Then you realize that you are God and not different from Him.

Guru is Guide to our life, he is lighthouse in an ocean. Although there isn't any good definition for guru i attempt to provide a small explanation in layman language. To better understand the role of guru consider a situation where you are lost in Amazon forest and you are on your way to get onto road. How sure are you that you can reach your destination? You are under a million risk, you can be prey to beats or you can get into traps made for wild animals or you can drive into some wrong route where you are deviating away from your goal. There are some possibilities to avoid these, the best solution is hire a local person who can guide you through that forest.Now, i think readers have got my intention of taking this example.In the above example you need to offer some money to hire person but in the case of guru you need to offer him patience, confidence,faith and belief in order to assist you.

By now i think you have got an idea of who is guru. Now let us see how does guru respond and act towards you. Before getting into the topic i would like to ask you a simple question, What will happen if you direct route to that hired local person in jungle? The result would be very wild isn't it? There is a chance of getting lost or even drive yourself into death. What i mean is that when you have hired the local personnel don't direct him just follow him. Similarly in the case of Guru, its not advisable to demand a particular desire. Let's have a clear look of this situation, I don't have job right now and i am need of job badly. In this situation we shouldn't ask guru to get particular job instead ask him to get you a 'job', notice the difference between 'a job' and 'particular job'. An open fact should be considered here, we are just humans and we don't have capacity to foresee future,then how can we decide that by attaining particular job our life and career gets settled? It can even make your life and career worse so better be open and dont be specific. I would like to Substantiate my position with another example , consider a situation where a child is demanding chocolate everyday, what would be the reaction of mother? She would surely reprimand him of that because she is aware that if she offers chocolate everyday his teeth and subsequently health gets down. Fifth Miracle Of Shirdi Sai Baba(Continuation Of Fourth Miracle)

I bow my head in front of shirdi sai baba and start the next miracle experience. In the earlier post we all have read how my dad has got the ticket from unkown person. Now in this post let us see how his experience of shirdi tour was and how he completely converted to shirdi sai devotee.

After getting ticket, he couldn’t find any reason to skip rather to continue with the journey. He stepped into train and went ahead to shirdi. After getting down at shirdi Railway Station He caught a bus and went to temple. He has taken a small room where he could fresh up and later he started to temple. According to my dad the temple in those days was not very big and they used to directly walkin just like any other normal local temple. It was very underdevolped village where hardly there were one or two hotels. He Went inside temple and he bowed head infront of shirdi sai baba, he touched the Samadhi and bowed his head there. The point to be observed here is at that time they used to allow devotees to touch the Samadhi and place their head. After bowing his head he sat infront of baba and doing his mantra. Suddenly they heard a big helicopter sound on the top of baba temple . It was heard continuously for few min so all the devotees had a look at it, the pilot in helicopter offered three rounds around the temple which logically relates to PRADAKSHIN. After completing first round of pradakshin around temple on top he showered a basket full of ROSE pettles and after completing second round he showered white Petals and in the third round he showered some other flower petals. All the people there were awestruck seeing the incident. Specifically, my dad was very shocked seeing the incident , then he thought that baba is probably very very great and that is the reason people are believing him great. When he later enquired about the reason of happiness of that pilot, people over there answered that , he has passed the pilot examination and was selected as pilot. So as a tribute to baba he offered flowers. That’s the greatness Of shirdi Sai baba..!!

Welcome to all my viewers Of Blog, Firstly, let me bow my head in front of shirdi sai baba and start narrating fourth greatest miracle I have heard about. This Miracle is for Atheists or for the persons who want to know the greatness of shirdi sai baba. Let me start the experience…

It was in the year 1985, my father was working with a company, he was very happy earning handsome of salary and enjoying life. In 1986 company has declared heavy losses and went into liquidation, as a result all the employees lost their jobs including my dad. In a state Of despair he returned home as usual my mom was waiting for my dad to have dinner together. When my mom asked the reason of sadness my dad shared the fact with mom and was depressed about the incident. At that time it was the only source of income for my parents and the situation was so critical that even 10 rupees was so precious to them. It was one week after the incident , my mom made her mind strong enough and she some how managed to offer my dad a sum of rs 500-/ to go to shirdi. My dad at that time was not aware about shirdi sai baba and argued with my mom saying “what happens if we go to shirdi? Why should we waste this money instead we can meet some daily expenses with this!!”, but my mom refused and stood by her wish to go to shirdi. Thinking Of not to hurt my mom my dad finally started to shirdi taking a small bag with half mind. He went to railway station praying god that he should not get railway ticket so that he can offer a reason to my mom for returning home without going shirdi. Having several thoughts in his mind he finally reached counter it was backed by long queue . My dad stood for fifteen minutes in queue and he enquired about the availability of tickets so the railway staff told that , tickets are sold and it is difficult to get one. My dad in a deferred mood started back to home walking in railway station. The miracles Of Sai baba cannot be explained nor his acts can be determined, perhaps my dad never thought that, this is turning point of his life. Suddenly a man came rushing and offered Shirdi Ticket to my dad saying that “ I have small work I cannot go to shirdi would you like to buy it?” my dad was shocked!! He was awestruck , several thoughts were prevailing in his mind..

“How did this man come to know that I have planned to go to shirdi and did not get the ticket”

“Did that railway staff directed towards me for the sale of ticket? But that is not possible because I have walked long way and besides he did not see my face while answering”

“Is this called a miracle?”
“Is baba great? perhaps he is”

See the above conversation in his mind , this is the act of baba! This is power of shirdi sai baba! He will make to think about him, he willmake us realize his importance in one’s life and power of him. Perhaps, if this incident did not take place and my dad has got ticket normally by standing in queue, then probably he could never feel the power of shirdi sai baba and he could have never felt his divine love.

Shirdi Sai Baba Devotee Experience - Puneet

Till December 2008, I was not a Sai Baba Bhakta (I wish I was...) The first week of January brought bad news for me becuase of which I cried, cried and cried... I believed in other gods, but somebody prayed for my betterment at Shirdi that time, and looks like Sai Baba
heard that prayer. I now read Sai Satchritra and Sai Baba stories and hear Bhajans daily. I have also started going to Sai Baba mandir twice daily (first to Lodhi road mandir while returning from office at around 7-7.30 and secondly for night aarti at Sai Baba mandir saket at 9-10 PM. I sit at both the temples for around 40-45 minutes before leaving for home. I try to visit both temples daily, but because of office or home responsibilities, I have to miss Lodhi road temple sometimes.

One evening, I got late in office. So I thought of skipping the Lodhi road mandir and visit only the Saket mandir at night. However, Sai Baba only knows how his leelas. Whilie driving, it came to my mind that I should atleast pass by the Lodhi road mandir and bow my head from outside. So I changed my route and took the route which goes through lodhi road mandir. There is a traffic signal before the Sai Baba mandir at lodhi road, which is hardly 50 metres away from the parking area of mandir. I was waiting for the traffic light to get green, when suddenly an auto driver on the left knocked on my car window and told me that the tyre is punctured. I drove my car to the parking space, just 50 metres, and called up the 365 days mechanic service. The mechanic told me that he will come in an hour's time. I became so happppppppyyyyyyy. I parked my car there and went to mandir and thanked Sai Baba for this wonderful and sweet leelas of his. Somebody might call this as a simple coincidence, but for me, this was a marvellous leelas. It was his way of calling me to His darbar. No doubt, my Shraddha towards Him has become stronger.

Now I want to go to Shirdi. I have never been there. I want to see the village where He used to roam around. Want to see those huts, those lucky stones and grasses which have kissed His Feet. I wish I go there as soon as possible. Please jaldi se aane ki Permission do na Baba ji...

The Lord Narasimha is Lord of Dharmapuri. A large number of devotees, daily 1,000 on an average, visit the sacred shrine of Lord Narasimha to pay their homage to Him. Hindus believe Lakshmi Narasimha to be a half man, half lion form of Vishnu. The story behind this is that the a local being, named Hiranya kashyapa had obtained from God Bramha immunity from attack from "man or beast". This person then began abusing his powers and began forcing others to worship him, as if he were a God. Among those abused was his own son, Prahlada a staunch worshiper of Vishnu. In order to surmount Bramha's condition, Vishnu assumed a form that was neither man nor beast, but a combination of both, and then went on to finish off this person with his nails. At that time he was very furious and called as UGRA NARASIMHA and subsequently the saints and Gods prayed him to be cool and Narasimha came to Dharmapuri and undergone a deep meditation with yoga mudra and was called Yoga Narasimha. At the same place a shrine was constructed by then king of Dharmapuri, Dharma Varma by whom the town was called as DHARMAPURI.

Dharmapuri is called after the name of King Dharmavarma who was a staunch devotee of Lord Narasimha, is known for its rich culture and and produced many artists in the disciplines of theatre, classical music and poetry. It has a rich treasury of temples and idols of Hindu Gods spreader allover the town The Shiva panchayatanam (Miniature temple formed with the idols of Lord Shiva, and Goddess Parvati, Lord Ganesh, Nagaraja and Nandiswara)The town is well located on the banks of Holy River Godavary and by virtue of this it is called as Dakshin Kashi. The trishataka kartha Kavi Sheshappa hailed from this place only. A Vedic school and sasnskrit college are the boosting sanathana dharma and Vedic culture and transmitting in its vicinity. It is located in District Karimnagar of north Telngana of Andhra Pradesh of South India. It is nearly 220 KM from State capital Hyderabad And 65 km from the district Headquarters. It is also called as a great HARI HARA Kshetra with the presence of Lord Shiva in the form of Ramalingeshwara.

Yamaraju Temple At Entrance:

Recently a fortnight ago i have visited dharmapuri temple, when i was about to enter the temple some people grouped and they are offering candle lights to yamadharmaraju. I was astonished to see that and when enquired about that, the local people over there said that this is the only temple of yamadharmaraju in India, if we offer oil to yamadharmaraju there wil be no sudden death and health problems.As am also an Indian and a man with sentiments i have offered the same and bowed my head infront of him to give me good health.Have a look of the Idol there!!

Wat Rong Khun in Chiang Rai, Thailand is unlike any Buddhist temples in the world. The all-white, highly ornate structure gilded in mosaic mirrors that seem to shine magically, is done in a distinctly contemporary style. It is the brainchild of renowned Thai artist Chalermchai Kositpipat.

Actually, the temple is still under construction. Chalermchai expects it will take another 90 years to complete, making it the Buddhist temple equivalent of the Sagrada Familia church in Barcelona, Spain!

Tiger’s Nest Monastery, perched precariously on the edge of a 3,000-feet-high cliff in Paro Valley, is one of the holiest places in Bhutan. Legend has it that Guru Rinpoche [wiki], the second Buddha, flew onto the cliff on the back of a tigress, and then meditated in a cave which now exists within the monastery walls.

The monastery, formally called Taktshang Goemba, was built in 1692 and reconstructed in 1998 after a fire. Now, the monastery is restricted to practicing Buddhists on religious retreats and is off-limits to ordinary tourists.

Mundeshwari Temple in Bihar

Ma Mundeshwari Temple in Kaimur District of Bihar was recently in news due to the planned renovation and restoration by Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). Newspaper reports suggested that Mundeshwari Temple was built in 108 A D. Since then rituals and worship have been taking place at the temple without a break. Thus making it the oldest functional temple in the world.

The use of the term ‘oldest’ is a bit risky when talking about temples associated with Sanatana Dharma (Hinduism). Simply because no one has been able to clearly state how old Sanatana Dharma is. Say this temple is the oldest and immediately another person will be come with something much older.

So the safest option is to say that Ma Mundeshwari Temple in Kaimur District of Bihar is one of the oldest Hindu temples in the world.

Ma Mundeshwari Temple is situated atop the Kaimur Hill (608ft). The temple is in an octagonal shape. The sanctum sanctorum of the temple has an idol of Devi – Mundeshwari. There is also a ‘Chaturmukha Shivling’ in the sanctum sanctorum. A clear indication that Shiva and Shakti were worshipped here. Also an indication that the temple might be part of the Tantric cult which is quite popular in the Eastern part of India.

Apart from Shiva and Shakti, the temple also has idols of other popular gods in the Hindu pantheon including Ganesha, Surya, Vishnu and Mother Goddess. Temple materials and idols can be found scattered near this very rare octagonal shaped temple.

Experts believe that the temple was built during the Shaka Era.

Interestingly, the present caretaker of the temple is Muslim, yet another example of the religious harmony at the grassroots level in India. The temple attracts devotees during festivals like Ramnavami and Shivratri.
